Tikka Craze

The place was clean but a bit dim. The staff who took my order was friendly. Maybe I ordered the wrong thing or should have asked for a taste test but their chicken curry wasn't what I was used to. The meat was tender and it was very flavorful but I felt like I just had chicken with some oily sauce-thin consistency and lack creaminess. So I guess their curry leans towards Pakistani curry rather than Indian curry. And surprisingly their biryani rice is very spicy so I couldn't finish it.

Excellent spicy butter chicken. Atmosphere lacking in every regard. Prefer to get it to go and eat at home. Owner was pleasant and friendly, bringing out a few things to taste-test, and an extra naan bread for us, which was much appreciated.

I actually tried this little business last week when looking for some chicken curry to take to my friend/ doctor who had confessed he had never tasted curry (shock)! I asked the lady if I could have a small taste to make sure I liked it and she immediately complied. Loved the taste so I bought a serving and took it to him. I was impressed enough that when we were in Edmond yesterday, my husband and I chose the cafe for lunch. We both got the lunch plates which included a main dish, Biryani Rice and lovely warm and tender naan, all delicious! Now I must include a helpful hint to the owners...the presentation in the food in the pans behind the glass is not attractive! Improving this one thing might make a big difference! Overall we were impressed with the flavor, quantity, and value for the price! Neither of us could finish and brought the rest home for supper.

My friend tried this place for the first time today. For 12-1 lunch hour it was dead. We were the only ones in there. Place is really colorful. Lots of tables and chairs. When we walked in , we thought it was buffet style since food was on a buffet style sever. But we were told it wasn't a buffet. I ordered the 2 combo platter. It was butter chicken and spicy butter chicken-which they told us was like the tikka masala. My friend ordered the chicken tandoori. When we got our food, I wasn't sure if it was going to be legit since it didn't look like it was much.. but to our surprise, it was very flavorful! The meat was soft and tender, the gravy was right amount of flavor and seasoning. And the rice, it was yummm. Cooked to perfection and right amount of flavor. It also came w biryani, and it was delish too. The naan that came w it could have been a little better. It was slightly on the burnt side. Overall, good was great. The girl who took outs order was very nice. I would def eat here again.

Food was okay. Atmosphere not great, but they are located across from a university, so I'm sure they have more take out than dine in orders.

Great food, we love their Greek salad, it's always fresh and delicious!! The sampler platter is a must have!! Could be a couple meals on its own, but a great way to try new things! One of our favorite places to go in Edmond.

I wish I loved this place more! Dropped by this place after a buy 1 get 1 free entree promo on Facebook. Sadly, the entrees were just alright. Needed a bit more punch of flavor for both the sweet and the spicy/salty butter chicken that we ordered. Also another con is that the entrees didn't come with any rice! Most Indian places here will give you rice when you buy an entree so I was a little surprised that rice was 4.99$ per serving here too. We ordered the biryani to have some rice on the side to have it with the butter chicken, and it just needed a little bit more flavor as well. Pros is that service was quick and courteous, and portions are big for the chicken biryani. Entree portions weren't as big, but definitely not worth 9.99$ and especially with no rice to go with it. I'd only stop by if you got hold of the promo and wanted quick indian food!

No rice with entree. I mean comon, I haven't seen an Indian place with nothing with your entree. Then side of rice is $5.99 which is way on the higher side. We had chickpeas which was literally worse. Chicken in the butter chicken were ok but the gravy had no flavor felt like tomato paste with lots of food coloring.

Best food and service. Food was very delicious and their service was outstanding. I love their gesture and who properly they serve

Food is fresh and tasty. Not sure what changed but huge improvement. Service is great. Customer service provided by staff is excellent. Guys go eat at TikkaCraze Edmond. Thanks
