It is a quarter mile race track. There are plenty of bleacher seats and standing room, they offer food and drinks, and the grounds are easy to walk.I have not raced cars or motorcycles at other tracks, but the track here seems well kept. Some things do concern me about how oil spills are cleaned up when a racer's motor blows out, but Thunder Valley seems to do a great job at cleaning up the oil and keeping racer and viewer safety priority. The race slips they offer have several readings regarding distance, speed, reaction time, and time; the most popular lengths are 1/8 and 1/4. It says your time and mph for the distance. I hope to share pics of slips as soon as i find them. There are several lanes open for automobiles and a couple lanes for motorcycles. There is a burnout area just before the staging area with a great light tree to assist with pre-staging and staging. They have public events with spectators where the public can race their vehicle, and events with private racers but the public is spectating.

Love this place! My fiancé took me here on a weekend for the day and it was awesome. Lots of great cars, friendly folks who don't mind chatting it up with you about what they've done to their cars. The place was well kept, clean and staff were friendly. Bathrooms were near the bleachers and well kept. I didn't try their food but everyone seemed happy with it and it looked pretty good. I don't have anything bad to say about this place. It was a great experience and I will be back again for sure. Note: always wear (and bring with you) a high SPF sunblock. It's needed.

It was a great weekend for their 2nd event of Outlaw Armageddon! They were way more prepared than last year, im told. Tail-gated, shorter lines, lots of bathrooms, and overall great accommodations. We will be back! It was fantastic weather too!

This place is the place to go to see some of the fastest street cars in America! Big Chief and Murder Nova show up pretty frequent at big events with the rest of the Midwest Street Cars crew. The stadium is pretty old so don't expect recliners for seating but hey... This is a drag strip! They hold events pretty much every week, weather permitting. Some big sponsors show up during events such as 1320 video and Nitrous Outlet. They have racing fuel fuel pumps there so you won't have to worry about fuel and availability. I've heard that they will be having NO2 tanks to fill up as well. Over all this place is great to get out and see some fast cars!

We are at Outlaw Armageddon 2017 and we got an RV spot and 2 day tickets and this is the absolute worse track we have ever been to. Drove in from Las Vegas NV and the staff here is just rude. It's hot and nasty out and people are getting sick and passing out because they have one gate open in and out. The other Gates they have opened to go right to the RV they won't let us use because the guy doesn't want to check bands. This track is a joke. They care nothing about the people who are spending a fortune to be here. This is definitely a track no matter what they have we will NOT come back. Horrible experience. Even calling before we came to ask questions they were rude. Save your money. Horrible experience. I was very surprised they didn't do the National Anthem either. Every race we've been to that's big. Very disappointed. Deserves a negative.

Fun time at the track. Walked though the pits and some of the mechanics took the time to talk with us and explain some of their strategy. You can only get that at these hometown tracks.

People should have been told that starting line was going to be at the 8th to the finish. I have been setting in stands for hours and then find out that we can't even see the race. This night has only upset my man. There are so many people disappointed with this evening. We drove a long way and took off work to enjoy a track that was new to us.

Definitely a BIG waste of money. No places to sit or even stand to see what was going on. Thunder Valley is not the place for something that big. 10,000 people or more and no where for them to go. Will not be back.
