Great venue and everyone was friendly. Enjoyed the ride from the zoo parking lot to the venue. Lots of room and bathrooms were clean/not busy/plentiful.

I had a fun experience here with Ben Rector. I always love hearing him play. The Amphitheatre online booking is easy, and we bought tickets ahead of time. We parked at the Science Museum which made us feel safe about parking our car. The thing I wish they would work on is ticket signage when you arrive. They don't make it the clearest as to which entry line is which. We had no problems, but we had to ask around to find out which line was which, and the extra cost for GA Express wasn't worth it because we didn't get an early entry like their website expressed: "An Express ticket will allow the holder access to the venue 30 minutes before the general public. " We arrived early for our GA express entry, thinking we'd get in 30 minutes before regular GA. Nope. The VIP line was all admitted first, then the GA Express line, and then immediately after the GA line was admitted. There was no 30-minute head start. This means if you happened to show up 29 minutes early, then most of GA would have already been admitted.Walking in, one of the male water bottle sellers cheekily said "I have free water for the next 5 seconds!" and I attempted a swipe, but he ran away. Kinda funny, kinda rude.Their bathrooms are like camp bathrooms. Small wooden stalls, and flooded. The toilets and sinks work, and they have paper towels, but the floor was covered in water from when it rains. Other than that, we had a fun time. We brought our lawn chairs, and they were nice to have for all the waiting times, either in line to be admitted or in the venue. I would advise against a picnic blanket unless you're okay with sitting on the sidelines, as most people bring lawn chairs and they may block your view if you're just sitting on the grass. We exited the venue and exiting the parking lot was a nightmare. I believe they should get someone flashy out their directing traffic, but that's just me. We'll always be back for Ben Rector!

Great place to see some music for less than the local Areas! Staff gets you through the line quickly. Eat before you go, food and drinks are expensive.

It is an outdoor venue. Can't say there's much to it. What I don't know is why they prevent folks from bringing in their own personal water bottles when it is 90+ degrees F outside. I'd feel differently if water didn't cost $5 a bottle here.

Concert was excellent but security was pathetic...they would walk in front our row non stop all night and bs....reason they kept moving around is they were taking turns smoking pot...so much for our safety...never again here....

Old-school outdoor hill Amphitheatre ! Dirt & Dusty just like the old days !! Grass .. Ha.. except the type you smoke of course ! If you're going to see one of your favorites go ahead and buy VIP which is a section off area with assigned plastic seating. General admission is more for the people who go there for every concert. Bar service is a joke .. straight from the 70s with a very very limited selection of bottles ! No Barcardi, no Tito's, no crown... you get the picture. Think bags of ice and coolers , no speed guns , untrained bartenders and eight dollar cocktails. The good news is no lines to get in & friendly security! Huge stage an awesome sound system! Such a nice change from the indoor venues where you have to wear your ear plugs!

Attended a concert here and overall it was a good venue. Outdoor security did a fine job when we had waited all day to get rail at the show. As most places, the security was no different. No one ever seems to get a solid idea on the plan but they were nice people. One thing that didn't make sense was I doors some drink booths took cash while some only took credit. It would have been helpful if they sold water in the pit in front of the stage but at least the guy came by twice to sell expensive $6 large iced lemonades. With people passing out from the heat security finally was at least passing out bags of ice and hot water. I hope in the future they plan better.

I really love this venue. I wish they had venue employees sharing that other lines are open when it's general admission time. Don't get caught in the main long line. Walk towards the venue entry and there are usually other lines that are open and shorter. Also the lines for beer/drinks are pretty long but that comes with the territory. Just be prepared to wait. If you love being outdoors and love music, this place is great minus those two very minor details. The acoustics are great and there's not a bad seat in the house.

Only there one time for a Rick Springfield concert this week. They needs lights in the redwood decking in the back of the stage. I tripped & fell flat on my face and really hurt my knee. But I wasn't about to miss the concert to fill out paperwork. Also, the company that does security.... They really should train their people to know what a confirmation is. I had to argue with Bill Badass for 15 minutes to be able to get to the VIP section for my Meet 'N Greet. He finally put a paper bracelet on my arm, all while saying, I don't usually do this.. when I got to the back where the group was gathering, I asked how many of the women actually had a paper 'ticket' and out of 8 women, just 1 had something printed out and after looking at it, it was the same damn thing as the confirmation I showed this jackass on my phone. Makes me wonder how many of the others be hassled for a ticket. The confirmation number was highlighted so it would be easy to find. He was mostly just being a prick. Give a man a badge.. the steps in the actual park were kinda dangerous as well, but nothing like the decking that had NO lighting whatsoever. A man did come over and asked me if I fell on the step up and I told him yes. It was like he was making note of the all the people that had fallen that night. Put some lights up already!
