The Trails At Rockwell Apartments

These are the filthiest apartments in North West OKC' Edmond & DeerCreek.Management makes zero effort to keep the trash picked up, tenants don't pick up after their dogs. If something goes wrong in your apartment, it takes over a week to get it fixed, I once wasn't able to use my kitchen sink and dishwasher for seven days. Every other apartment complex in the area has clean grounds, yet this one can't figure out how to pick up garbage. It's a humiliating place to live.

I've loved here over 6 months, very quiet, and clean! I have never had issues with bugs. In total I have probably seen 3-4 over my 6 month period of living here. Walls are insulated very well, I have lived in many apartments and the trails have by FAR been my favorite. Only issue is usps not delivering bigger packages to apartments, so keep that in mind

Do not move in here. The apartments smell like piss to the point you can't live in them. They will not compensate you for the time it takes to try and fix the problem. Drug problems throughout and when you move out to get away from it they charge you an outrageous amount.

My experience at this At The Trails At Rockwell was terrible.The people living there do not pick up their dog poop. I would leave for work and do poop would be by my door. My upstairs neighbor had her trash can on her balcony and trash would blow in my yard. I left before my lease was up. I left my apartment in very good shape and they still charge me for unnecessary maintenance.Out Of a 350.00 deposit I received only 150.00 back which I believe wasn't fair. The ladies are young and they don't care because they don't pay what we have to pay. I never got to speak to the owner of the property. it didn't matter to me if they lived out of state I just wanted to let them know my problems with their establishment.

I have relatives that live here but I noticed they have bad management as well as maintenance men..I am a secret shopper but not for apartments I wasn't going to comment until I seen a young ladies apartment that had kids and there was no dishwasher useable, had calcium build up about an inch thick and has to be replaced for sure!! ice maker not connected,front door knob all messed up and the cheapest you can buy washer from the 90s per say no update since the 12 year old was 2..I hate to say these apartments are not suitable to live in and as hotel secret shopper at 70..I couldn't believe all that was wrong ...Lets put it this way only mandatory things as a/c and heat gets fixed I assume the rest gets left for the tenant to do..I did take pics and will take them forward if management can't do better and the men that speed around the parking lot acting like they are working..Sad,sad,and terrible work ethics. Just can't believe this is what people get for the price they have to pay to live there..I will be back in 14 days to review again..I will attach my photos then ..

Update on the last review I wrote: it's been 4 months and this apartment as ignored an order by Oklahoma City Police Department for that whole time after her truck was broken in to due to their negligence of not changing lights in their parking lot. Now all the lights in the hallways are out too. This place is a living nightmare. DO NOT MOVE HERE! This is an update to an old one star review and nothing has been done about it.

The pool is always closed for service, but they never manage to actually clean it. There is algae, mold and slime in the pool the only reason I don't regret moving here is the rent, not to talk about the maintenance there services are horrible honestly I think they should have some requirements considering they are constantly messing up my apartment maintenance, I hate the front office they give the spare key you everybody, if it wasn't so common and easy for Domestic violence and breaking and entering maybe I would feel a bit safer. plus the littering it is horrible and people seriously need to create a clean up crew also the insects they are horrible with the little spraying they do my daughter has found several bugs in her room. And the patios are horrible it is not a patio it is a closet with no walls they could have spent a little more time trying to make it not the size of the washer and dryer room. And the power goes out all the time and the plumbing sucks!!! I would not live at The Trails At Rockwell

I wish I could give this place -5 stars. They will not take care of you at all. If you have an issue, they will let it set for months then get mad at you on your quarter annual inspections they do. Absolute shit apartments. Oklahoma City Police Department told them to fix a light in their parking lot because cars were being broken in to and did they do that? No. Plus their apartments smell like cigarette smoke and they will never do anything about it. This is the most neglectful apartment complex in the city and wouldn't be surprised if it was that in the state of Oklahoma. If you are moving to Oklahoma, DO NOT MOVE TO THIS APARTMENT COMPLEX.

Management is terrible. Make sure you get any quotes or promises in writing. Maintenance is poor. I had mice in the apartment and found they were coming in a hole behind the stove. Maintenance said they didn't have anything to fill the hole and told me to buy the materials. The place is a pig pin with trash everywhere. Dog poop isn't picked up and the residence are sketchy. Not a good place to live!

Got Bait and Switched on prices:Just got Bait and switched on prices when renewing my lease. I got a letter from the apartment complex stating that they would allow me to renew my lease for 6 months at the price of $625 a month for 6 months, but when I came in they told me the prices had increased to $650 a month for 6 months even though I had their writing stating otherwise. I showed them the letter (attached), but they said that unfortunately they wouldn't be able to honor their written word.Love the local staff who attempted to help, but the blatant disregard for upholding agreements on the corporate level has me questioning if I should be concerned about anything else they are lying about or corners the complex may be cutting.
