I was in the store this weekend. I really love how the guys take care of the customers. They helped the gals with getting their stuff into the store as well as carrying things out to the car for them. It's really sweet. Super helpful, and caring. It was nice to see.I've bought a sewing machine from them and was treated great. They've got THE best selection of thread anywhere. I've also had great experience with repairs and great advice when I've had a sewing machine issue. They are local and not a huge corporate conglomerate. They support the local sewing/quilting guilds and I appreciate them all the more for that.If I could I'd turn my review up to 11.

The Stitching Post has been my family's go to store for machines for years. Robert and Robin are extremely knowledgeable as well as all of their staff. They take the time to answer any and all questions you have. I love the sewing machine I purchased from them last July and I will definitely buy from Stitching Post again.

Just walked in and basically questioned why I was in store. I asked two people behind counter if the store was open and they responded yes but it was like the third inquisition on what I was looking for and browsing was not an answer he was going to accept. Stay away, there are too many competitors to put up with this poor customer service!!

I cannot say enough positive things to document my experience with this shop. We he a very bad experience with another repair shop but I am so thankful we made it here. The owner is local and onsite. Big plus. Every single employee was beyond helpful. They repaired my wife's machine while I waited! This was after it being held hostage elsewhere for months! There amazing warranty and free lessons are just icing on the cake!!!!

Left our Riccar vacuum (which we had purchased from them) there for repair. After a month they had not even looked at it. Had called twice but evidently customer service is unimportant. Just the old story of being too busy. Well, we can help with that by never returning.

I would not recommend The Stitching Post - 16 weeks to repair my Juki sewing machine. I got the run-around and lied to several times. I have a Juki HZL-G220 sewing machine which I purchased Dec 2020 from S.P. who highly recommended it over a Brothers machine. In Sept the lettering wouldn't work so I left my machine Sept 18, 2023 and was told it would take several weeks to get the parts for the pulse motor, which broke when they were testing it. Oct 6 Robert, the owner, said he had JUST talked to Juki Rep and they were ordering the part. Oct 20 talked to Angie and she said it would take several more weeks. Nov 2 Robert said he had JUST talked to Juki Rep to get the part (2nd time he said he talked to Juki Rep). Nov 2 called Juki, Brian, Tech Support, said he would overnight the part to Stitching Post. Nov 9, Nov10, & Nov 14 still no part. 8 weeks so far. Nov 21- part in - my husband talked to John, repairman who said now the circuit board is broken, who had words w/my husband and hung up on him, very rude. Juki said circuit board usually only breaks in a catastrophic incident (lightening) and a 2 1/2 yr old machine, it shouldn't break on its own. Nov 22 Robert's wife called and said NOW my machine was sent to Juki to get repaired. I was not told beforehand. Nov 29 Robert said it would only take a couple of weeks to repair new pulse motor & new circuit board - LOL. Jan 8th & 9th, 2024 - Robert did not return my calls when checking on machine. Jan 10, 2024 picked up machine and Stitching Post charged me shipping fee they had to pay to ship to Juki. 16 weeks to repair my machine. It appears Stitching Post didn't know how to discern the problem or repair machine, because but both parts broke when they were examining my machine, as John the repairman said.Juki repaired the Pulse Motor and Circuit Board - 2 yr warranty.

I carried my machine into the store and people who worked there were standing around talking to each other and ignored me. I got someone's attention and he had to go get someone else because I had a machine to be repaired. That person then had to go get his brother who is the repair guy. Repair guy was rude and treated me like I had no sense. He said he would look at it in 3 or 4 weeks. They kept my machine 6 weeks then texted that it couldn't be fixed. I went to pick it up - a 20 minute drive each way - and the spool holder had been broken off of it. I asked about it and the person helping me went out front of the store where repair man was standing around talking to other men. I could hear repair guy arguing about it. He came in and said that the machine couldn't be fixed but he would gouge out the broken spool holder. I said no and left. I doubt that he even tried to find the part needed to repair my machine. I will never go to this store again.

As a novice seamstress I needed a bit of instruction to best utilize my sewing machine. Staff were super helpful & did not make me feel like my questions were dumb. They gave me guidance about what supplies I really need which likely saved me some money. Highly recommend this business for novice to pro!

Really great store with great customer service. I attend a quilting group there twice a month and when we run out of supplies, they are available. Additionally, some of the people who work there also quilt and give great advice on various issues. Highly recommend.
