I don't even know where to begin. 1 - Our apartment was NOT cleaned before we moved in! I spent 4 hours cleaning it on my own! There were someone else clipped toe nails in the bathroom cabinets!!!!! UGH!!! 2 - We had a bug infestation and despite the half assed redneck the office hired to spray twice NOTHING worked! I spent 3 weeks spraying on my own and NOTHING changed! 3 - The outside hallways were disgusting and were always covered with dead bugs, and dried blood from peoples leaky trashes! 4 - The trash valet was as dependable as a fish coming to take the trash! However, they are dependable when they send you the bill! 5 - Parking is horrible. Someone literally parked and left their car in the middle of the parking lot. 6 - The pond is disgusting and always has dead fish and turtles floating on the shores that cause a nasty smell in the heat! 7 - The trash compactor is always overflowing and smells! 8 - Our dishwasher didn't even have the water plugged into it! I had to get under the sink to connect it on my own after watching a youtube video. 9 - The apartment overheated because we later found out that the vent tube was not correctly connected to our dryer! 10 - The patios and hallways have wasps nests all over the ceilings! This place has a major bug problem that management doesn't care about! We reported the issue and requested to speak to management two days in a row but they were NEVER in! 11 - Our garage was absolutely disgusting and had tons of dead bugs and mud dobbers on the inside of the door! 12 - the pool is closed half the time and not properly cleaned! There is always nasty trash and dirty bandaids littering the chair areas! Gross!I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE!

Mathew is so awesome, he cares about his residents so much & always on top of things. Jackie is great as well, Mathew is who i deal with the most though. quiet, safe neighborhood & my baby loves the pond and the playground.

The office staff is always friendly! Matthew knows a lot about the community and I appreciate the confidence he provides. It's clear that management genuinely cares about residents and goes above and beyond to provide a positive experience. I highly recommend this community for anyone looking for outstanding service and support.

I absolutely love the fact they have two different pools, a beautiful pond, fitness center, and game room for the children to use! This is a community that loves families and getting their community involved.

The people above me had a leak, so maintenance made 4 4x6 cutouts in the wall and ceiling. They fixed the person above me and the person below me (because it had been rented out) but I went 1.1/2 months with the 4 holes And my garbage disposal didn't work they came and said they fixed it nope it was doing the same thing 2 day's later, then the door on my dish washer would not stay closed unless you slammed it nor would it turn on. The disposal and dishwasher were broke the entire time I lived there 1 yr. Now I owe for the carpet to be replaced?!

I chose this apartment complex because of its quiet location, beautiful scenery, and what I thought was the quality in standard I was looking for. After only a couple weeks here, I realize that I had made the biggest mistake.They do not verify your income or your employment, so they are quick to get people in to fill the apartments at capacity but the people that truly lack the funds to live here are quickly evicted. There is no deposit, and the fees that they require you will never get back. You will pay to have your trash picked up from your door., sure, but youll also pay to have the dumpster emptied. In addition to the actual bill of these things, you will pay a service fee and administrative fee every month to have it done. The security gates are often broken, which allows cars to be broken into. The car care center they advertise has never worked.The "dog park" is covered in dog poop, the the gate is often broken and there is no shade.They do not employee a groundskeeper, or any type of security. There is so much trash that is blown around the property which is not a priority to the office. If you have any type of noise complaint or issue their suggestion is to continually call 911. The amount of dog poop that covers the ground is disgusting people don't clean up after their dogs and the rules are not enforced. Don't plan on sitting in the grass for relaxing view of their pond because it is truly a health hazard. The dog poop collection centers they have scattered about the property are not emptied in a timely fashion, are often overflowing creating a wonderful aroma. The buildings are not maintained there is paint splattered, glass, nails screws and trash all over the stairs, which makes it embarrassing for anybody that comes to visit you. The maintenance crew smokes and throws their cigarette butts wherever they choose without care.The pool is not consistently clean, and there's always an excuse as to why it isn't. It was down two weeks in June and the entire month of August. The amount of people that come to the pool that do not live here outweighs the people that do live here and try to use the pool. They have a key fob system with a magnet on the back to open the magnetic pool gate and the gym door however, they do not consistently work. When I moved in the one I received was broken I was reassured I would get one as soon as a new batch came in but then I was told that new residence will now come first and they would have to re-order more key fobs for me again. I've been in the hot tub only one time because it is so covered in mold so don't expect to be able to relax in a clean hot tub. The fire pit they talk about is located inside the front pool area. You have to carry wood to the pool, inside the gate to the fire pit. And the amazing relaxing scenery will be of other buildings and the office.My apartment was turned so quickly the makeready was not done properly, and was cleaned so poorly I had to scrub my tub and shower before I would step into it. The floors were so disgusting I had to wash the grout on the bathroom floors by hand. I moved in on the most disgusting, brown, dirty, stained and cat piss covered carpet. The amount of repairs that needed done was an entire page long. Here we are six months later and some of those items still have not been repaired after multiple promises of it being done.They play with your work orders. suspending it one day, canceling it the next or saying that it's completed when they never even came to check on the issue. They verbally tell you that they will be by "tomorrow" to work on an issue and then tomorrow never comes. The maintenance crew does not come in and focus on the issue at hand. They want to have a conversation with you about how badly their job sucks and they hate it here and explain to you why they're having to steal the part from another apartment or even the office itself because there's not enough funds to have stock in the maintenance room For repairs that they need. Once they do complete a repair in your apartment, they will leave trash and debris for you to clean up after them every time. they will share with you all of the drama from the office in hopes to gain your sympathy for how overworked they are. You will also get a continual earful of gossip regarding other neighbors.When a crew came in to replace my carpet and flooring, they made themselves at home in my bathroom. Using my radio and my toilet for their own personal use. I had to wear gloves and a mask to clean my toilet. It was the most disgusting thing. The amount of false advertising they put out heavily outweighs the truth of this place. You're going to pay an exorbitant amount of rent thinking you're also paying for the amenities to live here when in fact, there is nothing beneficial about living here. Any concerns you have the office will have either an excuse or shift blame to someone else. I pay my rent on the first of each mon

The shores have been so helpful when we needed it. I appreciate everything that they did to help us. Wonderful community.

I can't wait to get out of this bully pit. I went to the office today three times to complain that the trash is not being picked up. I saw a rat at night. It's disgusting. When I went the third time, I was yelled at and bullied by three maintenance men. They said I made the girl cry. They told me she is a leasing agent. So why didn't she tell me instead of crying. They tried to intimidate me. I am 69 almost 70, gray haired, and five foot tall. Seriously, she sent her goons after me. Still no trash pick up! They didn't clean the ice and snow either time, and at 69 after a recent heart attack, I shoveled to get my handicapped husband to the doctor, and I am supposed to care they have a cryer in the office. Don't bully me! I can't add pictures of poop and garbage but welcome to The Shores.

As a first time renter HELL NO!! The entire company is shady. The managment and staff are absolutely horrible and could care less about the residents. The walkways are always dirty and apartments and appliances are OLD with fresh paint and prices! They NEVER have maintenance parts!!! They must order from never never land. Paying $30 for valet trash and my neighbors hasn't been picked up in weeks. Finally saw mice having a snack in it. Don't waste your money. The lighting is horrible. Be prepared to buy lamps. I wish I would have seen the previous reviews. I can agree to the not clean apartment and dog shit everywhere. I was told the apartment and carpet had been cleaned before move in. Ray Charles says that's a lie. Plenty of other options in the area. My brother and I will be leaving this POS as soon as the lease is done. Thank goodness only a few months left.

We should have listened to the bad reviews about this apartment complex from the start. If I could leave a negative star review I would. When we moved in we were told that the charges we had to pay would be for trash valet $30 a month. They charged us extra every month for trash and when I confronted them about it they blamed it on the company they work with Conservice. I don't believe that bs but we couldn't do anything so we had to pay over $50 for trash valet every month. On top of that the trash men don't do a great job. They do not take boxes to throw them away and they don't take trash if they r to weak to carry it. If I can carry it and put it nicely out for them how is it that heavy. They also don't take anything out if it's not in a trash bag, we had to bag our fucking boxes. The speed bumps are terrible for your cars they are huge for no reason. The maintenance sucks we had a leak from our ceiling and it was leaking all over our bed. Told the crew one guy came out 45- an hour later saying he would fix it . Never came back to fix it. A/C broke same crack head said he'd fix it never did. We fixed it ourselves and they have tons of hidden fees. Like maintenance fees for $5 when we never called them that month . Shouldn't maintenance be free isn't that why we r renting an apartment for the convenience of the apartment to be handled and managed by the company. Their late fees are $141 ridiculously expensive they do not allow grace period i was one day late this month due to being out of town for Fourth of July. It was my last time paying rent and they put a late fee on my account. The hot tub is always dirty. The office crew are bitches there was only one nice worker and I didn't catch his name. The neighbor below me complained because I water my plants and I lived on the 2nd floor . Like lady if u don't like being on 1st floor get a different apartment obv u have someone living above u with a life and hobbies. I threw over compost that was a crushed up egg shell and the shores said it was trash. No it's compost. It's great for soil . They also said to put that nasty disgusting black trash can inside your home. Not doing that I will never bring a nasty germ infested trash can into my home. It sits outside period. The gym is never clean they probably clean it once a month so don't forget to wash your hands after using. They sent out reminders the day of not the day before they just want money . I paid my dues and will not be giving this sucky ass company anymore money. The blinds are so close to the wall that it scrapes the wall and it's so hard to pull the blinds up. But yes I'm so happy to not have to pay HIDDEN FEES anymore!!!!
