The Ridge Apartments

I came from an apartment that was not good about doing any work order or in the office. Since starting the process here at The Ridge - Ashley has made me feel welcomed made sure everything was in order. The maintenance folks were friendly and have gotten every work order I have put in done that day or within a 24 hour period. If I have questions I know that I can contact Ashley and she will walk me through anything I am confused about and does it with pleasure. Thank yall for welcoming me in to my new home.

My significant other and I are being forced to leave our apartment and relocate during the holidays after being loyal paying tenets at the ridge apartments in Midwest city for the past 3 years. Last week our HVAC started leaking maintenance came out and inspected on 11/6 and said that they would be back at 9 am the following morning but neglected to show. Over the weekend things spiraled out of control and water began to seep into our children's bedroom and flood the hallway so I submitted and emergency work order explaining how dangerous this can be for my partner who suffers from numerous health issues including heart problems, celiac, and severe allergies. On Monday morning we were met with a retaliatory response that the apartments were not were not going to renew our lease once it expires on December 31st under the concern that they didn't want my significant other to "fall ill" from the leaking HVAC. After receiving the notification that were being denied the opportunity to renew our lease the appartments finally hired someone to address the leaking HVAC on 11/14. However when questioning the property manager we were notified that the denial to renew our lease remains in affect despite the HVAC being repaired . Not only was this discriminatory against my partners health problems but it has also provided a serious hardship in being able to provide for our children during the holiday season.

I've been waiting two years to get my apartment fixed. I've been living with a severe black mold and rodent problem. I've caught upwards of a dozen mice. Getting anything fixed is like pulling teeth. The people they hire to fix things quit in the middle of fixing just about everything. All of this is making us physically sick.
