The Pointe At North Penn

We have been in this apartment since 2016. before this new owner took over, they would vet the applicants prior to allowing to move in. The management used to be on top of complaints and maintenance requests prior to this new owner. The court yards used to be clean and cared for. Now it is not, people move in and bring unwanted "guests". We did NOT have this problem prior to this new owner. They treat for pests however, they will try to fog for treatment and say, "it is mandatory follow the sheet to avoid rescheduling fees" I sent an email for treatment explanations and no explanation given just more like a COMPLY OR YOU WILL BE CHARGED VIBE. It was upsetting and there are other products and treatment for pest and when you fog it is not safe for people or pets to be around, so it is not safe. We called for treatment after we treated ourselves July 2023. At that time, I had taken the time to clean out our cabinets and clean everything thoroughly. We have found and used the same products as the pest control, we had to take care of the problem ourselves because they took a whole month to get back to us, and by the time it was our treatment was sufficient. They did have the Swift pest control come out to spray, since it took so long to come out, I placed all the dishes and utensils back in cabinets and drawers. The next day I received a notice that they were going to fog as recommendation of the Pest control service. That was another argument I had to have, and they did not come due to timing. I do not trust management entering our apartment when we are not home due to theft issues. We have found dead rats aside the apartment nasty dirty underwear in the grass and trash everywhere. People fail to clean up the dog poop so there is crap everywhere. People leave their kids toys outside and the toys end up on the sidewalks so people can trip on them and fall! We have sent several complaints about the appearance, and this is no longer a nice place to live. Kids run all over with no supervision and destroy the fences and throw rocks everywhere with no consideration of others. We like the location however this new office management is well... Needless to say, I am extremely disappointed

Trashy place. I visit a friend here often enough to have witnessed a lot of problems. There is too little accountability and oversight over those living here who refuse to follow the rules, thus the entire community suffers. It seems management is affraid of causing friction so they ignore many of the quality of living problems. The only good thing I will say is they do keep the property clean enough.I recommend spending a little more money and find a place where management respects the rights and dignity of ALL of its tenants.

Wonderful area, friendly people, maintenance could be a lot better!! Our AC has not worked properly since we moved in and have called about our AC not working multiple times! After a few times of coming over to look for the problem they stopped showing up!! The temp never reaches below 75° no matter what the thermostat is set at!

My move in was not what I expected. I did read the reviews 1st. I totally agree with the previous residents. The office staff is totally lost on apartment amenities and how to clean an apartment. I was told I would have things in my apartment as the show apartment I viewed, but upon move in was totally bombarded with why I don't have certain things. Totally upset.

They have people commenting on their reviews like Marylou W. to get their ratings up. The staff is very rude and they do not communicate with each other at all. The manager is very argumentative and aggressive in attitude and her fellow staff (except maintenance) are the same. Maintenance tries their best but without proper communication he is often left uniformed about problems, but so willing to help. I cannot stress how bad this place is and their management, I will hopefully be moving soon and will be done with this nightmare. They may as well have teenagers running the office with how disrespectful and unaccommodating they are.

Maintenance is always spot on, and fixed same day in most cases. Thanks guys, a job well done as always.

Maintenance always comes to fix things in a timely manner. The office staff can be nicer and have more customer service.

Very unhappy, we had a rainstorm a few weeks ago where water flooded from the front door all the way to the kitchen in the early morning hours. When I called the maintenance emergency line they said for their safety they have to wait until the storm calms. I understand safety is huge and I understand that it's 1 maintenance person for the entire complex, however with the egregiously high amount of rent you would think the owners would have more help. After calling in my maintenance emergency I did not hear anything for 3+ hours. I work from home and I could not let my work equipment sit in water, so I took it amongst myself to rent a shop vac to get up the water, when I explained to the leasing office that due to the lack of communication I would like to be reimbursed the $25 for the rental. After almost 2 weeks of no communication they got back to me and did not reimburse the $25 for the rental. I expected more from the point at north Penn and I am truly disappointed at the lack of care.

The ladies in the office are always so friendly and Jose' the maintenance guy is always very nice and does a great job!! My only complaint is that I can literally hear conversations from my next door neighbors through the wall and the little girl above me is always screaming her head off and running and jumping! So the walls are SUPER thin

overall. good job. My one complaint would be the pool during the summer. It seems as if it was closed more than it was opened. There were even times when I had to go to the office to see if it would open that day. Other than that. Good place to stay.
