The Plaza Restaurant

Great food with excellent service and amazing atmosphere. We pass through town a couple of times a year and always plan it so we can stop at The Plaza Restaurant for another wonderful meal.

This is one of the top restaurants in Pampa, Texas (I know that they have other locations also). Their food is consistently excellent and well-prepared. Their service is fast and courteous.

This was a great experience! The staff was friendly and attentive and the service was very fast. We went around 1:00 pm and had a great time! I ordered the enchiladas and they were great but I don't really like enchiladas. The green sauce was definitely a good choice. I had potatoes and black beans as my sides and both were excellent. THE QUESO is a must have-it was amazing and unlike any queso I've ever had before. A MUST ORDER!

Not a whole lot going on here in Pampa. Small town, limited places to dine. That being said..., Let's say Pampa had various restaurants to dine , The Plaza would be top of my 'favorites list.' Oh yeah! It's family friendly too!!!

Wow! We just left this restaurant and we were all extremely disappointed....Since it was 2:30pm the restaurant wasn't busy at all however; we had extremely SLOW service. Our server, Karla, was nice enough, but she obviously needs more training. We had to ask her three times to bring us a small bowl so my daughter could have some cheese dip of her own. Then, we waited almost 10 minutes before she brought us anymore tortilla chips for our cheese dip! And Karla only had three tables she was serving. (Just 3)We only ordered Nachos & Chicken Tortilla Soup, but it took almost 20 minutes before we received our Entrees. That is really slow and unacceptable because there were so few diners in the restaurant. I'm not sure why it took so LONG????I ordered the Chicken Tortilla Soup and it was "different"! I've never had Tortilla Soup with celery in it before. ~Yuck~ I will never order it again and I'm so glad I only ordered the Small instead of the Large. After picking out all of the Celery and poking around I finally found some chicken....but it was tasteless and stringy. We wanted some dessert, but we were afraid to try any because we were afraid it would also be bad; so we decided to wait and have ice cream when we got home. We were also afraid of how long it would take to actually get a dessert order. It will be a LONG time, but more likely we will never eat at this restaurant again. Do yourself a favor and drive to Amarillo! Amarillo has a lot of very good restaurants and you won't be disappointed & waste your time and money.

Darn, when visiting my family this weekend, we ate at the Plaza. Big disappointment from last time I was there!!! I had the "big margarita". It tasted like a virgin one. I think they forgot to add the tequila. For the price of the drink, I should have just ordered water!!! Wait staff were a bit confused at times. Orders weren't correct and no suggestions from wait staff when we were ordering. The best thing was the guacamole and chips.

Excellent food and excellent service. Friendly family atmosphere. Had the Enchilada Skillet. Fabulous

Not the best Mexican food in pampa. Food isn't horrible but is mediocre at best. Everything tastes the same, no flavor. Service is usually good along with atmosphere. It is always consistently ok but just that ok. The amount of cars there is misleading.

The crispy Chile Rellenos is outstanding. I would get it next time without the queso under it but that's just my personal preference because the queso was delicious too as was the guacamole salad. The beef in the enchilada had the right seasonings and I chose verde sauce which fit perfectly. Next time I'd probably order ala carte and not bother with beans and rice for I felt I wasted them. Highly recommend.

great service loved the waitress, food is 10/10 delicious. the people are super friendly & always helpful!
