The Lookout Kitchen-Quartz Mountain

I'm sadly giving 3 star rating, because the first time I went it was a bad experience. Staff was horrible, took forever to get our food and the food was cold. I went back to see if things had improved and I'm so happy I did. Staff was amazing, Halloween buffet looked amazing. I had a ScissorTail sandwich it was hot and fresh. My sister enjoyed a well seasoned burger. I'm hoping my next visit will be a fabulous experience.

Big portions. Good food. We were pleasantly surprised with the grilled chicken plate and the catfish plate with okra. Food was cooked to perfection.

That is not true. Meats are prepared and separated and placed in a cooler until used. They grab what's needed and cook it from there.Not sure who you heard from that it just sits out all day but that information is incorrect.

After eating weird tasting burger I found out the meat is just sit out for the day instead of being in the fridge and grabbing it for made to order and the same thing goes for the chicken, it sits out all day in the kitchen at room temp which is unsanitary and could make you very sick. After finding out about all the food issues about not serving paying customers fresh food, I learned about about the owner, which now has 2 sexual lawsuits pending (one is to a 17 yr old.) After hearing about all this from one of the waitresses herself, I will NEVER eat there again. I would never recommend this place to eat. I would rather eat something out of a gas station food warmer. This place will not last long.
