The Intake

Have shopped at several vape shops here in town (mainly on the west side) but happened to be near this place so I decided to check it out. Im not sure if their main focus is in the crystal rocks they sell but it is far from a specialty vape shop (think more airport gift shop). Their prices were easily 20% more on common products I buy on a weekly bases. I think they have the market cornered on the East side bc there is no way they would stay in business with the outrageous prices. The staff was very nice and helpful but it felt more like a used car sale transaction than anything. Constantly tried to upsale me into a more expensive brand of juice, simply bc I pointed out how much more expensive my normal brand was. Will not be returning, even if I have to drive to the West side for my needs.

Excellent customer service and overall just a welcoming vibe to the place. I had the pleasure of actually working with one of the owners. Well priced products and very enjoyable atmosphere. No need to look elsewhere. Thank you guys! I'm only in town for the next 10 days, glad I was able to make it in.

It was 9PM and The Intake was the only vape shop open so I went with my dad so he could get a coil and vape juice. It took a while for him to get a juice he wanted because they were out of the all the ones he asked for. A different guy checked us out and he asked for both of our IDs and said he couldn't sell us anything. He asked how far my ID is and I said it's like 20 minutes away at home. I wasn't purchasing anything and they never asked for my ID when I walked in but because I didn't have my ID it prevented my dad from getting anything. So we had to drive home and come all the way back even though I wasn't buying anything.

I was recently shopping with a friend of mine here. Having brought him here, cause it was my favorite shop. He was shopping for a mod, and apparently offended the cashier by mentioning it's use. We were curtly told to leave. Nothing that my friend or I said indicated any illegal use of our purchase, or anything that deserved this treatment. If as a medical patient, I can't openly talk to the person selling me equipment for that use. Then there's no point in shopping there. And thus, after having been a good patron since shortly after the store's opening, I will find a different shop to make my purchases, and not one that treats customers like criminals.

By far the worst vape shop I have ever been to. The staff was completely incompetent and never have anything for those of us that were smart enough to get away from smok products. Juice along with everything elae is over priced and the juice quality is terrible

Just looked at cigars. They had a bin marked $2.50 each. My friend asked if they were the priced marked on the front. Clerk said yes with a reassurance from another worker perhaps a manager. We went to the cash register and suddenly there was an issue with the price. Now they're $13.50 each. Both consulted that they were moved without a label change. We are currently on our way to a competitor. The workers were too busy hanging out with friends, to care we left without making a sale or even an attempt to retain our business.

I've been going here for a couple years now, mainly because they're open late and it's close to my house. Products are a bit overpriced but decent quality, juice is just okay. Pretty pricey and less flavor than juice from other places, but it'll do in a pinch. Customer service is just okay as well, employees are often too busy socializing to acknowledge you until you ask for help but nobody has been outright rude or anything. However, today I was turned away for having my baby with me. Like... Really? I get the 18+ policy but I am obviously not bringing my 3 month old in so HE can buy age restricted products. Obviously I am there to buy things for ME and I had no choice but to bring my son with me. That's fine though, I'll shop somewhere else from now on. I'll probably still come here if my coil dies at 9:30 at night or something but there are other, better vape shops in Norman.

I noticed this company had some candles I like but not the scent. I asked Carissa and Megan if they could get it and they did. I was so excited and bought multiple candles. I love that they are there to help the customer and make them happy.

I found a reasonable price on a vape battery at this shop and I've been sending people over there when they need batteries. A friend I sent over there was sold a battery, not given a receipt, and it was the wrong battery. When we went back over there to try and exchange the battery they refused to exchange it without a receipt even though the person who waited on her the day before was there and remembered her. They refused to refund her money and they refused to exchange the battery, even though they knew it had been bought the night before at that shop. We went over to 18 Gauge Vapor and they sold us the right battery and made sure we had a receipt. I definitely won't be sending anyone else over to Intake and I don't recommend using them for anything.

Best vape shop in Norman! The staff is always friendly and knowledgeable. They're pretty strict on the I.D. policy but I guess that makes sense, you have to protect your business from fines and getting shutdown... I love that they have a rewards program it always saves me money
