great food and service- excellent ribs and brisket. the staff is very considerate and the portion don't leave you wanting for more since the are always genero servings of top quality meet and appetizers.

We're on our way to Dallas and we looked up good restaurants for lunch in Okmulgee. We were craving BBQ. So we stopped in and Kanesha came promptly and introduced herself. Her name is on one of the menu items so I assume she's either part owner or owner! Anyhoo, the food is amazing! I ordered ribs and BBQ beans. Hubby ordered Smoke Wich - a sandwich piled high with three meats...smoked bologna, brisket, and hot links. It was all delicious and came out really quick! We'll definitely be coming back here!

A small hole in the wall in okmulgee has a lot to offer!Do t let the small building fool you. This place is packed with flavor and awesomeness! Pricing is just right for what you get. And the people there are super personable makes you feel like ur home. I had the loaded two meat potato and it was so soft and fluffy it comes with ranch bbq sauce and sour cream and don't be afraid to ask for extras! They are pleasant and accommodating great little go to place for quick eats

I used Capp's BBQ for a luncheon, and they delivered !I was feeding approximately 15 people and decided to go with chopped beef on a bun, fried okra, potato salad and trimmings . Does anyone know what's going on with House of Smoke? Took some family members visiting to eat lunch there - had been bragging on the restaurant- got there - nothing to drink but water & tea - most of what we tried to order they didn't have - out of everything- usually packed at noon - hardly anyone there & the couple of customers that were there - were old men sitting by themselves but hollering across the entire restaurant to have a conversation with each other - we couldn't even hear ourselves talk to each other - what we did get to order was good but the whole experience was not terrific...what's going on that they can't offer most of what's on their menu???

The best barbecue I've ever had. Very friendly service Ann's they even have fried pickles as a side dish.

We heard good things about this place and tried it for ourselves. It looks like a dive but if you can put that aside and keep an open mind you will be in for a real treat. The BBQ is DELICIOUS!!!! Would highly recommend the ribs (my favorite) but we also tried the pulled pork, chopped and sliced brisket, fries, beans and coleslaw. I'm not a sauce person but my husband said it was outstanding. Couldn't find anything to improve. Service was friendly and fast. It appeared that the locals knew that they have a diamond in the rough!

food poisoning from the potato salad. In a large group, I was the only one who had the potato salad and gotvery sick for about 4-6 hours. Ribs were tasty but I think the place could need a deep clean.
