The Gelato Caffè

Nice Gelato Caffe store in the Penn Square Mall Food Court, toward the edges. Great gelato and coffee selection and prompt/accurate service. Recommended!

Gelato here is just okay. Flavors aren't as strong as they could be, or as true. Also not as dense and smooth as it should be. They vary by flavor, some textures wet and gooey, others thin and airy. Keep in mind I'm very picky with gelato. While below average they still aren't bad. Try the banana. Macarons are a let down, not airy and delicate, more crunchy and crumbly with a sticky filling. Flavors weak, not bold or creative.Ordering is annoying. The gelato side has such a small waiting area service is often rushed and monotone. I get it but they could still be much friendlier. And better marking the beginning and end of the line would help so folks don't bunch up at both ends.

Great no place to get gelato and coffee. Awesome people and good palette taste. Their cannoli are the bomb.

Great service and great food. There were enough options for me to choose from and the workers are very polite. I enjoyed my time there and will return.

Not sure why this place got such bad reviews. We always stop in here for gelato when in OKC. They have lots of flavors and we always enjoy it.

I tried to use a Groupon here awhile back. I'd give this place negative feedback. I had an expired Groupon so I asked the manager if I could still claim it and order something of the value of the coupon. Before that, her staff didn't even know what to do with Groupon. She said yes, so I proceeded with the order. After It was ready and sitting on the counter, the worker didn't know how to ring it up. So manager came out again and she said, "No, you have to order what was on the Groupon, not the value of it and that was a limited time special." All the while my order is melting. So I said, "You should have told me from the beginning. Now what am I supposed to do with the current order which is melting on the counter." No response. I was pretty upset at this whole situation. I said, "Fine, ring this order up and I'll pay for it." Yes, I paid for the melted gelato and I walked away. The worker said I forgot my order. I told him, "It's melted, you should just throw it away!" Never again will I come here or any of this company's branches. That was the only $3 and $7 Groupon you will ever get from me.

I usually try to write the good things about the places I visit but I was hugely disappointed with this place. Customer service??? What's that?And that is not even the worst part... The gelato was awful. Ok... I am the kind of person that finishes a dish even if I don't like it (that's just the way my Italian family raised me... Never waste food... Never order something if you won't eat it) and I have to admit I did not finish my gelato. Took a bite of the cookie and wanted to cry, in a bad way. I am sorry, the best advise I can give you, skip this place.

I am giving a low rating mainly because of the poor service. The ice cream itself is OK little overpriced for what it is. Unfortunately they have a bunch of teenagers working there that have no idea what they're doing. I waited in line while 3 teenage boys were hitting on one teenage girl and giving her a bunch of samples. After waiting about five minutes of listening to her giggle and say oh I can't decide and them giggling with her. I start walking away and then I think was the manager starts staring at me as I'm walking away and then the three teenagers started looking at me like I was an asshole. The Fourth teenager that was highly unkept stood off on the side and was just staring at the long line behind me.

This place was so good! It was my first time visiting this establishment and I didn't really know what to get but then this guy Nathan totally helped me out and really helped me enjoy my experience. Definitely going again!

It's a little too rich for me, but to share it's amazing. Lots of flavors to choose from.
