The Fried Taco

Another fantastic visit to our favorite tacos stop. The menu has been updated since we were here in spring . The food is still amazing but I saw new bowls and taco salad .No more yuca fries though . Everything always top notch.

What do you say when its all good! First please support this local restaurant especially in the Ice House/Railyard area! So many great restaurants have come and gone! This one is no different! You wont be disappointed, it is very good. This was the first time we had been there, it was fresh, the tacos were unique and quite tasty. The nachos were so filling, with queso and grated cheese, lots of chicken and al the fixins. Only reason its only 4 stars was the service. We were the only customers in there and the service was not good. I had to ask for our chips and dips after our entrees were ready. It took for ever to get our beverages and forget about refills. I hope it was just a bad night and they were wanting to close. We will give the service another try because the food was worth it!

The jackfruit tacos are my go to but this review is about the blue salsa in that little container on the left! WOW! This has a KICK and shocked me today!!! It is so good!!!! I have some leftover that I will be dipping my tortilla chips in. YUM!!!

I've been hooked since the first time I bit into one of these deliciously crunchy and carefully curated tacos! There are so many options to choose from, like the Mango Hibiscus Sweet Tea (try it, it's everything you've ever wanted) and TFT updates their menus often with new and creative items. Service is great and the atmosphere is always relaxing. I love that they have a location in Edmond with the Ice House Project, because it's now more convenient for me! Although, it may be dangerous for my wallet, because I crave them often! I think every one should try the Fried Taco, but beware... you may become addicted like me.

The food was ok. Service was fine. Just wasn't impressed. Maybe we caught them on and off day. The queso was good. I had a beef empanada, tasted ok but was greasy. My husband had a burrito, he said it was ok.

We had dinner here again the other day. Great experience, like always. Brisket quesadilla doesn't disappoint. Although, now that I know they have pickled onions, I'll be adding those to it going forward. And you can't have a brisket quesadilla (or really any taco/quesadilla here) without the blueberry hot sauce. Not gonna lie, it will light you up, but cut it with some sour cream and you're golden. Chips and queso were also nice. Add a side of Puerto Rican Aso Pao chicken and rice soup and it's time to slap your momma. Love the food here. Just wish we could get outta here without spending $80 bucks lol. Staff are very friendly. Restaurant is very clean and tidy. It's very comfortable to sit, eat, and chill for a while. And there's a playground just outside for the kiddos to enjoy when it's not cold as ice outside. Give it a shot. You'll enjoy it, trust me. Little tip: If your kids get a kids meal, their taco/quesadilla comes in a dinosaur shaped taco holder (it's pretty awesome). They love this and will remember it. When I ask my son- do you wanna go to The Fried Taco tonight- he's like huh? But when I say- do you wanna go to the dinosaur taco holder place, he's like OH YEAH lol.

We really enjoyed the Beef Empanada & Chicken Bacon Ranch Empanada, as well as the Brisket Taco (my favorite), Old Fashioned Ground Beef Taco, and the Caribbean Jerk Taco!!! We thought the Nashville Hot Chicken Taco was too spicy for us to enjoy. We also tried all 3 sauces on the side & liked the Avocado Tomatillo and the Pineapple Express! The Blueberry Yum Yum was also way too spicy for us! Maybe we're wimps when it comes to spice, but personally I like spice when it doesn't overpower the whole flavor. Overall we were happy with the experience & will definitely be coming back!!

We've been here several times and have had great experiences every time. This area is really fun, so we often bring the kids out for food, and they can play on the big grasshopper play equipment while we drink a couple of beers at the big seating area in front of American Solera. Mondays they have a special where if you buy an adult entrée, you get a kid's entrée for free, so we take advantage of that pretty regularly. The tacos and empanadas are always very tasty, and I really like the sauces they have. Sauces are what separate the average taco places from the very good ones in my opinion, and they have the sauce game on lock. I've never had any service issues - the employees are kind, and the food is always ready quickly.

Left a review almost 2 years ago, tried to eat here and they would not answer the phone.Call today for Cinco de Mayo, wanted to see if they had anything fun going on for the family or what specials they had, if any. Figured I would try them out, been wanting to go here and it's been 2 years so why not! They answered the phone, "We are not accepting over the phone orders for Cinco de Mayo" then hung up on me. Thought, what the heck. Ok, they are probably slammed, not taking phone orders is reasonable but dang. Waited a few minutes after I thought about it more, perhaps I just got disconnected. Called again, phone call was the same, just more aggressive.Their service was garbage two years ago and it's garbage today. If you despise your career this much, make a change. If you manage your business this way, you won't continue to be in business. ‍

The coconut lavender lemonade was so inspirational plz give my friend Silas Pacheco a raise he is so motivational and gave him a tip because he put a smile on my face. Plz come to the fried taco.
