The Floating Bookshop

This is my favorite indie bookstore in the city, great selection and friendly staff.

Amazing customer service! The owner is SO friendly & knowledgeable! & super cute spot within a local collective of other small businesses.Definitely worth a visit.

If I were a parent, I would come to 617 W Sheridan, I'd grab my coffee from hunny and honey then we'd go book shopping here every weekend. This was by far the cutest bookshop I've been to in Oklahoma City. So much natural light with a plant shop right next door and the owner was too kind. For those of you who love Taylor swift and Beyoncé he is carrying their little golden books and his prices are awesome! I bought a madlib, haha I forgot about them but my family and I had a great time with it. Can't wait to return to this little bookshop and find more little treasures. We had so much fun in here just looking around.

If you're looking for a bookstore, this is the one. After working next door to The Floating Bookshop for over a year, I can attest to the kindness, intelligence and hospitality that Echo and Jim cultivate in the shop. Not only did TFB nearly always have the memoir, cookbook or novel I was looking for, but they offered to order it on the off chance it wasn't stocked. Echo and Jim are approachable and make the space feel safe and inclusive. I'm so grateful for their presence in OKC!

Fantastic book store in downtown OKC!Great selection of new books you won't find other places.Plus they have cute cards and puzzles with great art.Love this place!
