The disheveled room. Everything was out of place, like someone had JUST been here.

I stayed in this place on a drive across the country. I had slept the previous night in my car at a truck stop, so all I really wanted was a bed and a working shower. What I got was so much more. I'll start by saying this place is not good for family stays. If you have children with you, please take my advice and don't book here. This place is largely an extended-stay hotel, and due to the low price tag, upkeep is minimal and the area it's in is not the most "savory" part of town. The first thing you notice upon entering the hotel is how large it is. The hotel is massive; the layout hearkens back to the days when so called "motor lodges" were a novel concept. The lobby has this odd feeling of obsolete grandiosity, with a huge Brady-Bunch-esque chandelier and wood paneling. A slightly dusty baby-grand piano sat in the corner beside a couple of computers. The Biltmore, according to the long-time manager was originally a Hilton, and it shows. The former amenities are showcased on signs around the hotel; the gazebo, hot tub, and sports-book club are long gone. Quirkily enough, a couple of signs literally had these things crossed off in magic marker. However, the indoor pool and one of the outdoor pools are still working. The hotel has two bars, the Chisholm Room and the Bombay Lounge. I was there on a Tuesday, so only the Bombay Lounge was open. The place was a riot. A local guitarist played two sets, the beer was cold, and locals and extended-stayers were friendly enough. I talked with some amiable truckers who were passing through, and bought a drink for the guitarist. While walking back to the room, I encountered a woman I assume was an escort. She appeared to be on something, but she was harmless. To me, it added to the local color. In terms of the room, my door locked, the shower worked, the bed was fine, and I wasn't eaten by bed bugs. The TV, hilariously enough, was an old tube set from no later than 1995. I would recommend doing a quick check for bedbugs, but I do that everywhere I stay. The morning I left, the hotel staff let me push the lobby's piano from the wall, and I played for about half an hour. A couple of long-term guests thanked me for the music. To make a long story short (too late) you have two options at this price point. You can stay in another Super 8, or you can experience the faded glory that echoes through this establishment. I don't recommend this hotel for everyone. It's not particularly well kept up, and has an air of sketchiness to it that comes with virtually any $41-a-night room. But if you want an adventure and aren't intimidated by slightly tougher crowds, I'd recommend it, just to experience this odd relic of a by-gone era.

Just don't do it. You may catch something. We literally came and left within 15 minutes. This place is SUSPECT. We drove so long and my boyfriend was so exhausted, he just wanted to sleep. For 49.99? HELL YES. We aren't picky. We pulled into a spot as close to the room as possible. I noticed the car we parked next to had four flat tires. Immediately my boyfriend got stiff and felt uncomfortable leaving the car in the lot. We hesitantly grabbed our things and noticed several people eyeballing our vehicle. Entering the building led to more concern. The security door was propped open. Yikes. The whole building smelled like cigarettes and age. Upon entering our room, I immediately wanted to leave. The smell of smoke was intense, we were not informed of the adjoining room, which we again were NOT comfortable with. EVERYTHING in this room looked like it was touched within the last hour. The lampshades were crooked, the comforter was shifted, the couch had an imprint from a human ass, the pillows were crinkled and seemed laid upon.. and the TV was even shifted at an angle. The mere sight of the bed brought me chills. I lay here terrified that there are bed bugs in our belongings just from existing in this Silent Hill ass room for 10 minutes. The bathroom was..uncomfortable. Barely any TP. The towels were lazily rolled onto a shelf. The ceiling was yellow cork board tile and all mildewed and falling apart. My boyfriend decided to take a quick shower to relax as I stared into the godless void that was our room. He called me in and I took a look at the steamed mirror in the bathroom. A figure 8 streak from a half-ass mirror cleaning stared me in the face. We grabbed our stuff and trekked back to the front desk. Again, the same folk making another round of the sprawling building whilst eyeballing our car. Thank GOD this man paid cash. It was an extra $40 deposit and we lost $20 for using the shower. The rude little man at the desk gave us our money back. BLESS. We booked it to the Holiday Inn down the street and now I lay here happy as a clam in the most comfortable bed, and spacious room I've ever been in.

The term "you get what you pay for" comes to mind booked thru booking.com got a 5 day stay for $183. Not the best in the world. No flat screens people constantly lingering the place and worn outdated furniture. However the room was clean and neat. As for the staff on check in I prepaid for the room and then they lost my booking email showing proof of payment and tried to make me pay twice. After a 45 minute call with booking.com they allowed me to check in. The free Breakfast buffet was excellent eggs bacon or sausage every morning this was a real pleasant surprise! If your looking for a cheap place to stay and don't care about the frills then the Biltmore is the place for you.

We were deceived by booking.com the rating was 8 stars . After we entered our room we check on yelp and on it was rated 1 1/2 stars. Couldn't get a refund because we booked online. We wanted to leave but couldn't. I was not able to sleep at all. Our room was non smoking but i was able to smell cigarettes all night from the people smoking right outside my back doorway. My room also smelled like cow poop .I heard people everywhere around the hotel especially at night " all night ". this hotel is super old and dingy. I heard one guy ask about weekly rates after we have paid for our room. Everything is old even the sheets i posted a picture of our sheets with a cigarette burn on them. It even got to the point that I was smelling the pillows and the sheets if they've been washed. They smelled clean but the room felt dirty. I was able to speak to the manager and complained about our room and why we wanted to leave she was very understanding and she said that these were the things that she's trying to fix about the hotel and they put us in a new room and changed my in-laws bedsheets. It really didn't make much of a difference but she tried to help.Worst experience ever! Especially for being our first time in Oklahoma city

if I could rate this roach infested, trashy hotel a negative star, I would. with poor customer service as the icing on the cake. my husband, brother in law and 3 year old son checked in, and within the first 10 mins of walking through the door. there was a man passed out in the breezeway right outside our door. 5 or 6 roaches came out to greet us from the bathroom to the desk, even on our bed. I had to run to Walmart to get Raid because it was disgusting and ridiculous. the best part of it all (obvious sarcasm) was when I called the front desk, asking for bedding for the pullout couch, the woman was so rude and told me "we do not provide bedding for the pull out couch." Then hung up. don't waste your money.

Biltmore for fans of Western attire, and smoke on top of smoke with a layer of smoke wrapped in smoke with just a hint of smokey smoke.Biltmore for individuals who prefer that their surroundings not include trivial things like air conditioning.Biltmore for patrons with low standards.Biltmore for people who expect less.Actually, Biltless may be more accurate.I'll stop now.P. S. The employees are delightful. Very kind, helpful people. It really is too bad that the establishment doesn't line up with the staff. P. P. S. John P. states that this place "ain't the Taj Mahal." I'm not sure if you know this John P., but the Taj Mahal is a mausoleum built by an emperor in memory of his (third) dead wife. A mausoleum is where you put (surprise, surprise) dead people. It is therefore quite different from a hotel. Not exactly an apples to apples comparison, is it? Just thought I'd toss that out there. Unless he was referring to the Trump Taj Mahal, then my response would be, "You're certainly right about that."

I'm sitting on my bed at the biltmore as I type this. I've pushed one cricket out the door already, three more are lingering in the bathroom and since they're quiet (are they dead?) I'm fine with leaving them be. Another, however, seems to be hiding somewhere in the drapes and I'm debating on whether I'm willing to go through the hassle of requesting a new room, as this one seems to be infested with the critters. Will I wake up tomorrow with one on my face, cozying up with me on my bed? Am I willing to find out? Hmmm...Outside of the noisy roommates, the room smells. It's just dirty. I'm not uppity or coddled when it comes to hotels by any means, either. I grew up on Motel 6 and Best Western's. I still remember how i felt the first time I stayed with in a room with an INTERIOR facing door... All fancy and whatnot. Should have stuck with my roots. Passed plenty of the motel 6's to get here. Think the light's are still on?

Ew. Ew. Ew. This place is the most disgusting hotel I've ever been to in my life. Booking.com rated this place a 7. If I could rate it -10 I would. We came to OKC for my sons 7th birthday. Upon arriving we were tired after driving 6.5 hours and was ready to rest. The entire hotel has a weird funky/smoke smell - despite us having non-smoking rooms. I am writing this from the room now - and the beds are so hard - I may as well have slept on the floor. We asked the front desk for extra pillows and the clerk said "but you already have 6." And wouldn't give us any more. We brought homemade cupcakes from home to celebrate my sons birthday- but when we woke up this morning they were covered in ants. We sat on the floor to open up some of his presents and we got bitten by more ants. When we tried to get a refund and leave we were told that because we booked through booking.com we would have to work it out with them. Needless to say - we ended up stuck here. Both mornings I've woken up feeling sick. My allergies are going nuts in this place. I woke up at 2am this morning and couldn't breathe and had to get my inhaler. When I sat up to grab it, my eyes wouldn't open because of some kind of allergic reaction and they're gooped up. I've never experienced anything like this in a hotel. I cannot wait to get the hell out of here and NEVER EVER NEVER come back.

I would not recommend staying here. It is very outdated, the sheets had urine stains on them there. There were burns on the carpet, walls were stained with urine , tv was a box tv. And I wasn't given the full $50 deposit becuz their were makeup on the towels. There were homeless people walking around that looked shady. I won't stay there again!!!

DON'T RECOMMEND ANYONE TO GO HERE !!!My son was TERRIFIED to go to sleep. All through the night there was loud music and engines revving outside the room, people screaming and fighting in room 2 doors from us and was right next door to my mother and son, called front desk about people screaming and fighting they said they would send someone to take care of it, then an hour later same people were screaming and fighting again so called desk and they said they would deal with it and apologized for the noise. Then upon check out in the morning we talked to front desk about it and they said they would talk to night shift then give us a call, they NEVER called so we had to wait until the next day to talk to morning guy again and then he informed us that security and front desk people from that night said they NEVER had anyone call about fighting and screaming and that they didn't deal with anyone screaming and fighting that night. So they wouldn't discount our rooms since security and front desk from that night LIED about people fighting and screaming.WILL NEVER GO HERE AGAIN !!!
