food - this was my second time eating at this restaurant and i decided to try a different dish than my first visit, in which i ordered a biscuit a la carte with loaded toppings. this recent breakfast experience, i got an egg platter with grits and a biscuit. the two former components were very much satisfying, while the latter was bigger than i was expecting from my first experience and also tasty.service - i dont remember the name of the waiter with whom my dad and i were seated, but he was efficient and showed more personality than most waiters i have had the acquaintance. i told my dad privately he reminds me in appearance of basketball player robin lopez, and if he sees this review and recognizes himself in the description, i sincerely express positive intent with that comparison.ambiance - while not an especially big restaurant, pun intended, the seating floor is very open and welcoming. and as of yesterday, there is a marvelous chalk drawing of a rooster above the bar, which i also commented about to my dad privately looks like what i imagine the c*** of pablo picasso would have looked like; g*d bless the dead.

Came to the mall for Black Friday shopping and came across this really cute breakfast spot! We were immediately greeted and sat in the main dining area. We all really liked our food! Here are some things to know:- Biscuits are served with most meal options and the biscuit is BIG (size of a small bowl)- Portion sizes are pretty big so can definitely order a few platters and share- Fried chicken was the highlighted food by our waitress- If you order the fried chicken (side dish) it is flattened, fried, no bone ($4.99); it is very well seasoned and fried lightly- I'm very particular about sweet tea and lemonade so I was weary to order the Arnold Palmer but to my surprise it was very well balanced w/ sweet and sour-I can see this place getting crowded so definitely add your name to the online waitlistLastly, our waitress Kristy was super sweet and suggested great items from the menu...make sure to ask to be seated in her area!

First of all I didn't take pictures of my breakfast. Which looked great and was great. A spinach omelet. I also ordered a French Vanilla Cappuccino. It was pretty good,,,it was hot. But it also resembled a powdered hot cocoa. (No Thanks). I was dining solo for breakfast. I could tell they wanted to seat me at the bar. But it was crowded and I really wanted a table so I could do some work as I ate. The hostess seated me in a back room with a few other people. Seriously facing a corner. lol. When the server walked towards her the hostess said (SORRY I HAD TOO). Wow. Let me say,,,I was dressed better than most in the establishment and I've been told I'm a handsome man ,,,,,so it's not like I'm a rogue off the street she has to deal with. Also I happen to be a pay it forward tipper. It's not unusual for me to tip the equivalent of my bill or more. And then I started to look around all the wait staff is high school age. This girl was NOT interested in waiting on me. Never refilled coffee,, I had to ask for water. I was done eating by the time it came. My meal was $16. I gave her $10 cash. It would've been $20 if she'd been half way kind. Bunch of kids constantly huddled up talking. But I guess these owners know what they are doing. It's always crowded when I drive by. Which I will ALWAYS do in the Future. KEEP DRIVING.

What great food and great service! But the greatest was our server Sam. My wife was just diagnosed with cancer that morning. Sam was so kind and thoughtful and encouraging to my wife. She cried when we got in the car. She really blessed us and we hope she is doing well. Sam you don't know that we really needed what you said to us. God brought us there just to meet you. Thank you so much.

Had breakfast there for the first time. Cute place! Our waitress was great, the manager stopped by, and service was very fast.I enjoyed my Holly bowl, the scrambled eggs were delicious and it almost didn't need the potatoes! My husband's CFC was great!! The biscuits were big and fluffy. My iced Mocha was very mocha~y. The strawberry sunrise drink was amazing!!It was a bit pricy at $51 for two people, but that's life! We'll definitely be back.

After reading the reviews we decided to give this place a try. It is very big with plenty of seating, lots of windows to let in natural light. I really liked the feel of the place. It was very clean and there were several people maintaining the tables and floor while we were there- that made me feel they care about their restaurant and hygiene. We all enjoyed our food, it took a minute to get it but I think it wasn't too long. The portion sizes are fairly big, I was not able to finish mine. The wait staff were very friendly and seemed happy to be there. I like seeing happy workers, you know you'll get good service. They do have outdoor seating if the weather suits you. Definitely a great breakfast/brunch place. They do have lunch items too.

I always had in mind that there was a french toast biscuit on the menu. It was on my mind so much that I asked the waitress if there was ever an option & she said that it was possible (she's been there for 4 years & stated that the menu changed throughout time). With that being on my mind, I decided to go with the French Toast Platter, even though it wasn't an easy choice. The toast slices are thick, took me a minute to finish the two slices. Nice portions of butter, I didn't need much syrup. The platter comes with two eggs, two pieces of sausage or bacon (I got the sausage & they're patties), potatoes or country grits (I got the potatoes). Everything was good, no complaints. Potatoes can come loaded or ladled, I got ladled. They're well seasoned, the gravy that comes on top is good as well. I got the eggs sunny side up & they made them well. After eating everything, I still had room for the cold brew that I was sipping during the whole time I was sitting. I'm kicking myself for not remember the server's name. She was really good & had a great personality. There's something close on the menu to what I was looking for biscuit-wise initially that I'll come back for whenever I have a sweet tooth (Strawberry Shortcake Bonut/Bonut).

Not my first visit to The Big Biscuit but not a frequent choice for me.On this trip I found the biscuit a very good example of the uniquely American food that is called a biscuit.it was fluffy and tender. The bacon was perfectly cooked for my liking (O did ask for crispy bacon)The gravy however was a little disappointing with its creaminess ruined by a bitter burning aftertaste that reminded me of old ground pepper. It dampened an otherwise perfect if basic breakfast. It didn't ruin the meal just made it a less enjoyable experience.I do recommend The Big Biscuit just maybe avoid the gravy.A second visit confirms that the gravy is not enjoyable as it is far too peppery and sports a bitter aftertaste.I also tried omelettes (as did my wife) it is clear that they prefer to overcook the omelettes making them disappointing and dry. This restaurant has a lot going for it but unfortunately a complete knowledge of how to make the best versions of some pretty basic breakfast elements elude them.

Wow, so glad the BB finally arrived in Tulsa.Super fast & friendly service, but really it's about the food. It arrived quickly, hot and delicious. Generous portions, no skimping on ingredients. Fresh ingredients w/ very reasonable pricing! One "extra" I really appreciate is the small pot of coffee on the table, you don't have to wait for a refill. The sticky biscuits & loaded sticky biscuits are great for sharing at the table. I highly recommend The Big Biscuit!
