THIS PLACE COMMITS FRAUD!My son moved in and took pictures of things that needed repair and reported them via email and to the office. They never fixed anything and then after move out they sent a $1200 bill for the damages he reported to them and they never fixed!!! Then they turned this over to a collection group and Credit Bureau. I will not pay them for this and have disputed it to no avail. We need to get a class action lawsuit on this place, my understanding is that they do this with too many leaving residents!!! Do not live here or trust them!!!

I'm loving it here! It's one of the few places that offers a short-term lease, which was a must for me. The staff is super communicative, sweet, and helpful. Maintenance is also quick to come around and fix issues. The espresso machine in the lobby is a nice bonus too!

Really nice place if it weren't for the awful maintenance and the UNSECURED WIFI. It's honestly unbelievable they would think open WiFi for an apartment building is okay. To make things worse it's all on ONE network, this means people are able to connect to your smart devices. Woke up a couple time to someone turning on my TV or playing music on my Apple HomePod.

My experience overall at the ave was pretty good. The maintenance staff was absolutely phenomenal. Zero complaints about them. Every time I had a maintenance issue they addressed it very quickly. I really liked the pool, clubhouse, and other amenities. Overall the amenities were well kept up with. I never really interacted with the office staff so I can't say anything good or bad about them. Truly cannot say enough good things about maintenance though.

Great place, ruined by poor office staff. I found someone to take over my summer lease and I had to constantly call them to process the request. They would never follow up on what they said they would do, they would tell you can never complete the task. They would rather post on Instagram than help the residents. They also told us all winter that the hot tub worked and I never got to use it in the year I was there. The office staff is completely unhelpful, so sad.

My son rented an apartment at The Ave at Norman. Upon moveout, we were sent a collection notice for past due rent and several months of electricity that, according to The Ave at Norman, were never paid. I immediately called the community manager, Ashton Huling, and asked her if her internal ledger shows that July rent and several months of electricity were indeed unpaid. She told me that they WERE actually paid, that the collection was sent in error, and that the community manager Maegan Springfield would get it resolved. She then emailed me the ledger illustrating the same. But they never did get it resolved, and continue to send the collection notices to the credit bureaus, and will not release charges that were clearly fabricated in order to keep a deposit that is not rightfully theirs. In short, this apartment complex is incredibly fraudulent. I have heard much the same from other parents upon moveout. I would stay away from renting from this outfit. Terrible to deal with and dishonest at best, illegal in their business practices.Brad

This is my 4th year living at The Ave. The first 2-3 years were pretty good, but unfortunately the upper management has made some pretty bad decisions the past year. First thing they did was cut our cable without directly telling us in the middle of the year, so we effectively are paying the same amount of money each month and getting less from it. But the biggest thing is they've changed Wifi providers, and the new networks are public and unsecured. This means that anyone can access your devices without permission, and there's hundreds of people trying to use the same network at once. This leads to tons of lag and disconnects whether that's working on assignments online, streaming Netflix, or gaming with your friends. On top of that, I asked if there were plans to give each apartment unit their own secure network, and the office staff said it'd be done mid-summer. Well guess what, here we are and nothing is different. Having terrible internet at a complex marketed towards college students is insanity, and they even lied about improving it. I would have recommended The Ave a year ago. Unfortunately I no longer can.

This is my first year living at these apartments and it's wonderful! I think that the apartments are nicely spaced out and they give you a lot of room. Not to mention the amenities are fantastic. as a student the bus to Lloyd Noble is really nice on weekdays!

Have a roommate who smokes almost everyday and management wont do anything about it even though it breaks the contract. Management here sucks and they keep adding on charges hoping you wont notice when rent is due. They rush you into resigning a lease early and up rent prices when you don't. Also we had to move in Aug 17th (literally 4 days before school) and we still had to make tons of service/cleaning requests. Entrance littered with bug corpses. Yeah don't live here if you want a competent apartment with decent management.
