For a cafe located within a touristy place(Chickasaw cultural center) I am surprised at how inexpensive everything on the menu is! Most of the offerings are priced around $5, yep surprised me too. The interior is modern, clean and beautiful with huge glass walls. What's better is that they have a few vegetarian options as well. We ordered a black bean burger and a fry bread taco without meat. The flavors were just okay. I wasn't too impressed with the salsas on the condiment bar either. The grape dumpings were too sweet, like they reduced the juice that came from a bottle. Considering the price, this would still be a four star review if not for the service. They weren't busy but the food took forever to come out. We almost missed the stomp dance performance, but yes, still a good place to dine if you are visiting the cultural center.

Food was good. Daughter had chicken strips (standard) and I had Three Sisters salad. Description said romaine lettuce but it was actually shredded iceberg which was disappointing. Also there were only about 10 beans on the whole plate and 5 pieces of corn . Mostly just an iceberg lettuce salad.

This was our favorite place to eat while on vacation in Sulfer and Davis, OK. After eating out for so many days, you tire easily of fancy, over priced restaurants which keep you guessing IF they will be good this time. We got the Indian taco special which was a bargain for $6 and included hominy, grape dumplings and a drink. It was simple fresh hot and exactly what we wanted. We would eat then walk around the grounds and then refill our sweet tea which was EXCELLENT !!! I would compare it to Mcalester brewed tea. This was our highlight of our trip and is why we returned two days in a row. They close early before supper so do it for lunch.

We ate here after watching the stomp demonstration. We tried the bison burger, a frybread taco, and the bison chili with frybread. The taco was a little Americanized so besides the fry read it didn't seem very "Native American." The buffalo chili was very good and so was the bison burger. Overall I kind of wish it seemed more authentic but it was good and we also had grape dumplings for dessert with was different and very sweet.

We got the pashofa to try something different. It was cracked hominy with pork. It tasted bland but the frybread made up for it. Wish it had more pork. It was a new experience trying something new. We got the chocolate chip and royal cookies, which were just okay. They looked better than they tasted.

The Chickasaw special with a fry bread taco, a hominy stew and a dessert that was an amazing deal for $12 and included a drink. My son had the grilled salmon, which was a huge portion and very well seasoned and was also $12. Don't sleep on the cookies, big and delicious and $1.50. If you find yourself in Sulphur, check out the exhibits and have a great meal for a very reasonable price. I definitely plan to return and sample some more of the Native American fare.
