Thai Kitchen Cafe

Popular spot for lunch! They have a lunch buffet which seemed to be a hit. I did a lunch portion of the pad Thai. When I arrived, the place definitely had a lunch rush and it seemed as if it was a bit hard for them to keep up with cleaning tables. The lady that owned the restaurant was very nice and attentive to us during our meal. Would definitely give it another try!

I was absolutely starving so when I saw that this place had a lunch buffet, I was quite excited. Thai kitchen cafe is in kinda a rough area and you can tell that the building is old but non the less their food is fantastic! The buffet has plenty of options but is small and tight so you might have to wait a little bit for them to refill a dish or for people to clear out some. I definitely are too much but couldn't help myself with their pad Thai with some of their spicy chicken. Delicious combo!

Great food, friendly service. It's a very basic no frills place, but a true gem in the city!

Found this Thai food gem in OKC . Cheese rolls is kinda similar to crab Rangoon but better version. Customer service is good and they are friendly. Very traditional. We got drunken noodle ( Pad Kee Mao) chicken and beef. Delicious and tasty. Make sure you pick the right star for the heat/spicy level. I got a 2* and I was struggling with the hotness. Good/Tasty Thai food if you around and in OKC.

If I could give this place a super negative 0 star rating I would.We came in for lunch a little bit before 1 PM. When we arrived, there was nothing in the buffet line. However, the cashier said that they will be filling the buffet. Great, 30 minutes later they filled two items. But that wasn't enough food for everyone else that was already waiting. The most that was filled was green beans.... So I guess the cashier wasn't lying. They did fill the buffet with something. We went to speak to the owner and let him know the lack of food that was in his buffet line. His excuse was that they stop filling the buffet line 30 minutes prior to 2 PM which is the time when the buffet ends . Shortly after, a lady stepped in and started yelling (or maybe she wasn't and that's just how she talks) and told us that if we wanted a full buffet, we can go somewhere else , I told them, yes I will go somewhere else next time. His response was it doesn't matter to him.obviously they are fully aware that they are charging customers for a buffet with no intention of filling the buffet "unless we ask", which probably should let customers know instead of us sitting there eyeing the buffet line. And lastly, they don't care if they get any businesses or repeat customers. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE. I'm all about supporting local businesses, but the lack of customer service and respect from this place, I would recommend trying another Thai place in OKC that ends with "House - NW OKC".

Delicious and authentic Thai restaurant that serves very rare and hard-to-find dishes that you may only be able to find here (or at Sala Thai close to OCU and West 23rd). Also cozy, non-pretentious dining environs that make it feel like a true mom n' pop shop. Got the fried roll platter and coconut shrimp, and realized that their coconut soup plus spicy noodles were also great. Definitely recommended!

I'm so happy we gave this place a try! I've spent my adult life looking for a Thai restaurant as good as the one I frequented as a child, and I finally found it. We ordered the tom kha kai, sweet and sour pork, and cream cheese rolls, and it was all so delicious. The flavors were perfect. The restaurant is definitely sort of a hole-in-the-wall, which you always know is a good sign! Plus it's on a nice street with easy parking.What stood out to us by far was how kind and accommodating our server was! I've probably never had a nicer server. She was so sweet to our kids, and she made sure we had everything we needed. We will absolutely be back!

I have ordered togo and dine-in here many times since I first ever heard of them and I have never been disappointed. Ambiance = homey I love the lunch buffet : a variety of different items for a great price (under $20 I believe) There was this one time they forgot to add protein to my order ( I love the Pad Woonsen with beef) . I didn't complain because food was still delish and I saw how swamped they were ( honestly I didn't think it was that big of a deal and had already driven 5 miles away) . I was fineLater that evening they called me ! Legit search through the call catalog because they forgot to write my number down, they apologize and offer a remake. I even said no worries but boss lady came on the phone and insisted that she wants to fix the mistake. That is outstanding service and super sweet and thoughtful! Thank You Thai Kitchen!

The owner is delightful and super attentive. Food was fantastic! Highly recommend the cheese rolls if you're into jalapeño poppers (they're not spicy) and the Tom kha Kai is so creamy & flavorful. Give this place some love!

It's hard to find "authentic" preparations for these dishes & this place did not disappoint.
