The food and atmosphere is ALWAYS great here. Jeanie always has a smile on her face and most of the time she has time to give you a huge hug too. Her potato soup & chicken salad sandwich's are the best around!! Do not forget to stop by and grab you some BBQ too.

TGC is a hidden gem located on Main Street in Watonga. From their front window you can get a peek of what's inside. After entering, I saw a lot of merchandise right inside the store... jewelry, dolls, clothes, toys, kids floor mats, etc. Hidden towards the back you can see a dining area filled with tables and chairs and beautiful little treats on a counter. Jeannie and Doug Jackson, a wonderful couple, own the shop. Everytime I see Jeannie she is all smiles and goes out of her way to make sure you have all you need. I've even seen her at the courthouse taking orders for all the people waiting for court and staff having to work through lunch. They have take out menus that include sandwiches, salads, daily soup specials, canned pop, coffee made straight from coffee beans, tea, smoothies and flavored ice coffee. Today, I chose the Classic Sandwich with chicken, mayo, all the fixings on white bread for $6.00. It came with the sandwich and as an added surprise I also got a little cup of grapes and a bag of chips! I really want to try a strawberry smoothie, but it'll bring me back in another time. I was also given a rewards card: Buy 8 coffee's or smoothies and get the 9th free! I'll have to start getting it stamped! I can't wait to go back and try more!!

I was able to go back to TGC and the little coffee shop and ordered up a delicouse lunch, creamy broccoli and chedar soup with a freshly baked croissant roll and a little side of grapes and well you know I am EXTRA, so I had to order the chicken salad sandwich it was on wheat bread (your choice of white or wheat) filled with white meat chicken, grapes, walnuts and red apples, and your choice of a bag of chips!!! So satisfying! AND TO BE EVEN MORE EXTRA I tried the southern red velvet cake smoothie, which is now my favorite !!!! y'all really have to try this place out!! Oh and because I forgot to take photos of the menu, here ya go!! - Don't forget about all the boutique shopping!! They have handmade clothing, soaps, bath bombs ...treats essential oils....antiques...crafts, all kinds of stuff!!

Just like the other reviews said, you wander through a shop of eclectic things from clothing to toys to antiques. At the back of the shop is a small cafe. Forgot to take a picture of the menu. Sorry! I got a chicken salad croissant with a bag of chips ($10) and a 16 oz coffee ($1.75). Chicken Salad was good. Coffee was good if you like coffee that will eat your spoon. The gentleman there was very nice and pleasant. Would definitely come back and maybe try a smoothie
