This little dive has an very tasty burritos and street tacos. Dine in or take out, your order and pay at the register. If you're eating in, take a seat at one of their many tables, an employee will bring your food to you. The Green chili Verde Burrito is my favorite burrito.I forgot to order my burrito without potato, it was good but I'm not a fan of potatoes in my burrito - unless it's a breakfast burrito. The Asada burrito; spicy tender beef, potato and cheese. This is not fast Food, its home made authentic Mexican food - cooked to order. At this Taqueria, the food is very spicy and very very tasty.

I guess I should have read the reviews and kept driving. The Topo Chico was $3.00 which is the highest price I've ever paid for it. Not even high end restaurants charge that much. And it wasn't even cold This was the biggest and fullest Gordita I've ever seen. Also the spiciest al pastor I've ever hadz And the rubberiest. I guess the spice was to cover the absolutely horrid meat. I honestly left most of it- I wouldn't even take it home for my dogs. This was a complete waste of $6.50. Don't eat here.Note: I went home and ate a TV Dinner. That was an improvement.

Had a carne asada burrito here. As it came to our table our eyes popped open with wonder..wooow, it was HUGE. Which was perfect because I was splitting it with my hubby on a Saturday food crawl. But our smiles quickly turned to frowns..First, our burrito was poorly made with a too thick, doughy store-bought tortilla, too small for this behemoth of a burrito. As we tried to move half to a second plate, it promptly burst open spilling ingredients all over. We tried to get it back together with little success. A thinner, authentic burrito tortilla would have prevented this mess. And on top of that, the taste and texture were wrong, ingredients bland and mushy, asada nearly the texture of ground beef. It was disappointing. It was made worse by the cold and unfriendly girl and manager (owner?) working. Some friends of theirs were at one table and got all of the attention and friendly banter. Everyone else was on their own. We couldn't get salsa, couldn't get water. Service here needs some serious improvement...Lastly, when there was a recent even at the art gallery next door the owner was a jerk to patrons. Raising a stink, threatening people, not being neighborly or even trying to attract potential customers. All over parking. He turned a lot of folks off to his restaurant that day. Other reviews here mirror what we witnessed. Unprofessional.

A must-try for authentic Mexican food! Complementary chips, queso, salsa, and chunky avocado salsa. We tried a menagerie of dishes and meats, tacos, burritos....everything was so absolutely amazing! Intense flavors and super moist meats. The tortillas are homemade (not sure if they're made in-house or purchased locally but they're definitely fresh!!!) Kind service and very clean. We can't wait to go back

Definitely a place you go to get booze and then eat. Most definitely not suitable if you are just in it for the food. Our tacos tasted old and like the meat had been sitting around for awhile, not fresh at all.

Awesome breakfast burrito. Que rico and I grew up in Los Angeles. Don't come here expecting all the little creature comforts you get up in the snobby and pretentious Plaza. They ain't having it. It's just real Mexican and not that Tex Mex bunk either. I came back on Monday but I think they're closed on Mondays. I live that they're within walking distance from my apartment too.

Had an excellent breakfast burrito at Rafitas on a Wednesday morning. The joint was nearly empty around 8 AM. I ordered a bacon burrito and a sausage taco for my son (that I of course sampled). The food was not ready immediately but did not take more than 10 minutes. And, when it was delivered it was HOT and fresh. Clearly just made. I got the verde and roja sauce on the side. The burrito is enormous, it is jam packed with bacon, potatoes, eggs, and cheese. This is a seriously large burrito, great value. It's nothing fancy and you've certainly had more complex burritos before but this was just a solid and well-prepared burrito. Like a lot of breakfast burritos, the thing that made it work was the sauce. Both were strong but my preference was for the verde, it had a bit more heat and was definitely more flavorful. On a repeat visit I would likely get only the verde. The joint was clean throughout. I went during the pandemic (winter of 2020) and they had removed tables and closed an entire section of the restaurant. The cook (the only employee I encountered) had a mask as well. They took appropriate precautions and I would have no qualms about eating there in person under these conditions.Judging by the pictures I need to get back quick and try some lunch and dinner dishes. Very pleased with my first visit, I'll be back.
