My sad little asada taco had almost no veggies and less meat than others.
A little too crispy inside this carnitas taco.
Tasty chicken taco, $1.25
5 tacos for $5.99, a great deal, all tasty. Cabeza #1

Amazing, authentic Mexican food. Their breakfast burrito with sausage bacon and ham is amazing. The portions are big, and very reasonably priced.

Quality authentic Mexican food is being served from this food truck parked on the corner of Portland & NW 10th Street. Cabeza is the meat I most love here. It's braised beef like barbacoa, but extra tender and flavorful. It melts in your mouth. Chicken is also very good here, with a mild and buttery marinade. Al pastor is on the mild side also but has good flavor. But asada was a little too fatty on this visit, and the carnitas prepared too crispy. These are tasty tacos for $1.25 each, or 5 for $5.99. And there were a few grilled onions and pickled escabeche on the side along with a giant grilled chile toreado. As you can see from my photos, one taco seemed to be absent-mindedly barely filled with onion and cilantro (I specifically asked for the maximum). And there were two men inside talking, not cooking, who were not wearing masks. I took off just a star for these two things. I could have been more harsh, but with all of the misinformation on masks vs vaccines lately, I'm kind of over playing mask police. So far I have only tried the tacos here. Service is fast and very friendly. Communication a little rough but my husband managed in English okay. They have a single brand new picnic table out front, but it's three feet off of a very busy road. Plus zero shade and a southwest exposure makes it a boiler in summer. So I'd come expecting to take food to go or eating in your car. There is a decent amount of parking shared with the adjacent weed store. And as expected with most of these 'taco trucks' as we call them, it's cash only.
