This place is very friendly, clean, and DELICIOUS! VERY AUTHENTIC. fresh ingredients. Open late. The patriot was perfectly cooked. The volcano is new to me and I'm Mexican, there's not much I haven't seen in Mexican cuisine. It was a deep fried tortilla similar to a tostada with melted white cheese and crane asada. Rolled with regular taco toppings suck as onion. Cilantro and salsa. Their dads was very friendly and flavorful as well but not too hot. Although they have a hot option.

I just had the most killer tacos. This place is called Taqueria Cardenas. Hands down "The best tacos around" 22 meats, made from scratch corn tortillas. This place is great!

This has to be the best Mexican food in OKC. I ordered 3 carne Asada tacos and 3 al Pastor tacos! 3 words A-Maz-ing!! The flavor was sooo good. I'm originally from California Home of Mexican food to me and I moved to Wichita, but this place reminds me of Home and I will drive 2 hours just to get another taste of the food we had here. The service was amazing, they packed up our food for us and very friendly! Stopped by and when we saw the whole menu was in Spanish we knew we were in the right place!

Love love the gorditas here, best in town. I don't speak Mexican and they don't speak English here so I bring a friend that can. If you want some real Mexican food come here. Love love this place.

Excellent eats at 2am on a Saturday night! They serve food until 4am some nights, as do many of the other nearby Mexican eateries and food trucks, just look for the neon on 29th. :)I arrived just before the bars closed so I had ordered and was seated by the time the nearly empty restaurant completely filled up and a line filed to the door.I wasn't super hungry, I just wanted to try some local fare so I ordered the nachos. They carry all the classic, traditional Mexican favorites too, I just wasn't up for a meal, not realizing the nachos ARE a meal here! Nachos were outstanding. The chips were made to order, the chorizo was cooked well done with a nice char on it. There was just a small bit of very good quality melted cheese, refried beans, lettuce, diced white onions, and dice tomatoes with a drizzle of sour cream across and plenty of fresh chopped cilantro.Servers barely spoke English but were incredibly kind and accommodating. Great food, great vibe, great people! I'll be back!

I'm not from Oklahoma so I'm used to good street tacos from Dallas. As a Mexican I have also been to Mexico and I know a good taco when I see one. These were not that. The tortilla was pretty dry and tiny. The potion size were very irrational. The meat was flavorless and dry as well I hate to be a neg ball but I'd like to share my experience because I have no idea how they have 4.5 stars. The agua de horchata was good and the bean dip you get with chips but the tacos were not. I am still on the hunt for a good taqueria. "/

Have been here many times before it's always been great, But today I saw a rat run by our table, not something you wanna see while enjoying your food.

This taqueria is pretty much everything a taqueria should be (well, aside from not serving beer). It has a broad menu with lots of meat choices. I ordered three tacos and my daughter ordered the chicken burrito. Prices were in line with what they should be, and the portions were also. However, these tacos tasted a cut above other taquerias in the area. While we were waiting for the food, we made our way over to the condiment bar, which had everything from seasoned, grilled onions to jalapenos, to salsa, to pico. We really enjoyed the food, and the staff there was really friendly. I want to give this place 4 stars because they don't serve beer, but they do pretty much everything else right. They also have a drink bar that serves up smoothies and other Mexican-style drinks. Oh, and they also stay open until 4 am on weekends.
