I've been to the food truck a few times and finally had a chance to visit their new location. It's a nice space inside, even including a bar for cocktails if you want. We came early and the frozen margaritas weren't ready yet, but the regular strawberry margarita was very delicious. I ordered the nachos and my friend got the tacos. I've has the tacos many times and already know how delicious and flavourful they are, I was ready to try something new. I enjoyed the nachos as well. Full of flavor and they give you lots of toppings. The service was great, we were there during lunch, so it wasn't very crowded, but she was still very attentive and checked on us often. I really enjoy this location and it's the perfect spot for family dinner, date night or out with friends.

A solid taco spot with good flavors and unique tortillas and hot sauces. The pineapple hot sauce is my fav, but they are all good.Meat quality seems to be slightly lacking, with a lot of noticeably inedible pieces (across several visits), but a certain amount of this is to be expected in the average taco spot. A bit more spot trimming would give better customer experience. The burrito is very uninspired, with a disproportionate amount of rice and the taco ingredients are just thrown in haphazardly, leading to bites of pure rice. I say charge more and put less filler. Or remove the burrito entirely. The tacos are all designed to be explosive in flavor and proportionally balanced. The burrito just seems like an afterthought "throw taco filling into a larger tortilla with rice." This could just be a burrito assembly issue, but I would never order it again to find out, so who knows. My girlfriend loves the taco salad with shrimp.

Food was meh. Had the trio appetizer (guacamole, salsa, queso and chips). Nothing to write home about.Pollo burrito for entree. It was the best thing out of everything I had. Salsas (mild, medium and spicy) were bland to me. Mild (which was a green sauce) was the best of the 3.Basically self serve.Ambiance so-so.All-in-all most likely will not go again.

This is great that Taco Empire!s successful taco truck has opened a dine in or take out restaurant 7008 BW 122nd St. OKC. The restaurant is festive and very welcoming to guests. I ordered the Pastor taco marinated work with pineapple chunks. Onions, cilantro piled on a blue corn tortilla. The park tamale was also very good friendly customer service. The

Wow, Taco Empire is a revelation! Fantastic food with a fun atmosphere. I had a grilled shrimp quesadilla and my husband had a grilled steak burrito. We couldn't begin to be able to finish our food and it was so delicious we really wanted too! The guacamole and queso are awesome and served with homemade chips! Service was great too

Cute place. Super charming. Picked this as our yelp date night. Food was good. I had the fried fish and shrimp tacos and husband had the burrito. Mine was fantastic. The trio dip was excellent. Service was good but would loved to have a frosty mug with my beer. I think their bar is new but has potential. Will definitely be back for the food and future bar experience. Super clean and fast service. Fun date night and prices were good.

These aren't authentic tacos but they were pretty good. I especially liked their peach mango salsa. Good food, good service.

Craving tacos so searched for a place near the area I was running errands, Taco Empire popped up so thought I would give it a try. I ordered steak tacos, had no idea they would be served on blue corn tortillas, but I'm not complaining. They were pretty good! I also ordered chips and guacamole. Another good choice! I look forward to trying more things on their menu next time I am in the area.

Hands down the BEST food truck in OKC! Our neighborhood has Taco Empire come out earlier this week for a neighborhood Summer get together and it was perfect! The service was super speedy and the staff were so friendly! My husband and I had a few different tacos to try and they were all delicious! This will absolutely be a Food Truck that we seek out around the city :) 10/10 recommend and look forward to next time!

This past Cinco De Mayo my boyfriend and I went to an event at Scissortail Park. I remember it being a hot and humid day and there were several food trucks to choose from. We chose Taco Empire and were extremely happy with our choice! I forgot all about how hot it was, as I was satisfying my hunger with delicious food! I started following them on social media and fast forward to a few weeks ago. We saw they were having a grand opening on November 19, 23 at their new brick and mortar location and you would get a free chips and queso with you order. We walk into a nice clean establishment. It wasn't overly busy at all. Walked right up to the register and placed our order. The gentleman at the counter wasn't exactly welcoming or inviting. He never mentioned the free chips and queso with our order, I had to ask.Food took a while. We got the chips and queso after our food. Queso wasn't flavorful and I was glad I didn't spend money on it. My boyfriend got his quesabirria tacos, beans and rice first. My food came several minutes later. I got the fish taco, steak taco, and elote. The quesbirria tacos were great! Lots of meat and cooked to perfection. Very flavorful! My tacos were good, but they were cold. It was as if they were just sitting there and maybe they forgot to bring my food when it was ready. Rice was solid and the beans were okay. The elote (corn) was not what I was expecting at all! It was cut in a funky way and covered in oil! It was greasy and lacked flavor! I wouldn't recommend it. I will say that I left highly disappointed! It's not that the food was horrible, but the quality wasn't the same as what we had out of the food truck and it was just all underwhelming. I also felt like service wasn't the greatest. This is the grand opening ... no one asked us how the food was, and your serving cold food? This is a time to shine and present your best to make people want to come back. Haven't decided if I'll give them another try.
