We had a/c problems earlier when the weather was starting to really creep up the scales. The husband called another company over first and was unimpressed with their solution and overall customer service. He said he's always had gut feelings about Suntech and their commercials (especially their jingles ... lol) so he called them. We ended up with a brand new a/c and the husband is super pleased with Suntech all round. They took wonderful care and offered a brilliant deal. Thank goodness all that got done before the mercury went haywire.

Have had good experiences with Sun Tech installing 2-HVAC systems and 2-water heaters. They continue tune up services. N. Ortiz, tech, was extremely friendly and had great customer service.

I love this company! Two years ago, we bought our air conditioner from them when we moved into a new home. They have taken great care of us. We are on the program where they come and do a tuneup every six months and they do a great job. They are friendly and thorough.

They truly deserve ZERO !ALWAYS get a 2nd opinion if you are dealing with this company!!! When they tell you that the replacement parts will take three weeks but they can put a new unit in today, tell them NO THANK YOU! I was desperate and said yes. Not only did I get a new unit that day, I got a leak that ran from the 2nd floor unit in the the first floor kitchen and dining room ceiling and on the hardwood floor. Also, be leary of Ted because what he tells you today, he changes his mind tomorrow.

Either the tech I got was completely incompetent or was deliberately conning me. The way he explained things made him seem knowledgeable so I'm left to believe (and feel like) I was being deliberately conned.My AC unit began just blowing normal air, not cooling the place off. My wife had a good experience with Suntech before so she called them up, scheduled a call, and they were prompt and nice. The tech came out, asked me standard questions about how old it is (just over 1 year) what happened etc, pulled apart the outside unit, checked wires, probed with a voltmeter, and said it was the compressor. He also hopped up in the attic and started checking out the ductwork, pulled out a calculator, and started explaining to me that there wasn't enough return ductwork for the unit to function efficiently, which probably led to the premature failure of my compressor. This was for my upstairs unit, I also have a downstairs unit so I had him look at it too, he said it had the same problem - he of course recommended we either add more return ducts and/or make the ones we have bigger, he'd get me an estimate for that as well..For the compressor, the parts were gonna be $900-ish, and with install, coolant, etc it was gonna be over $1400. I took the estimate, scheduled for them to come out and do the compressor next week.Luckily I have a good relationship with my builder, so I had the good sense to contact him and ask him about the return duct issue. He sent me to his HVAC guy (the one that installed it) and said (paraphrasing) that's a pretty common tactic among HVAC contractors.The builder's HVAC guy comes out, looks at the unit outside, tests the capacitor, determines it's probably bad, grabs a new one out of his truck and replaces it, and it's working again. $95. AND he told me that all of the parts in my units are under a 5 year manufacturer warranty, and the Suntech guy should have known that when I told him it was only a year old. He also reassured me that the return ducts were just fine, they wouldn't have passed inspection if they weren't.TLDR: Suntech told me it was the compressor when it was the capacitor, was going to charge me $1400+ to replace it (including the cost of the capacitor) likely knowing that it was still under warranty, and then tried to talk me into a fortune in unnecessary duct work. I do NOT recommend working with Suntech.

Run! Suntech A/C screwup do it! They serviced my ac and broke it! I went two ours in this Oklahoma hot summer with no air. Run as fast as you can! Oh they also charged me full price for the ac tuneup...

Great technicians. Rodney and his assistant were awesome every time! But these guys want to make sure they are satisfied 1st rather than the customer. Meaning ownership/management. They had opportunities to save us the customer a good amount of money but we were deprived of that information prior to all the work. Just make sure if you go with these ppl that you ask about all cost mitigation programs and what not. They wont offer it upfront, and when you learn about it later after you have paid full price, they wont double back and make it right with anything tangible. However, I am not sure that any company is good anymore, everyone worships the dollar before anything else. It's all about profits, definitely not customer service. Not at all.

We had Suntech come out to our home today to perform a tuneup as advertised for $89. The tech came and spent a couple of hours and called us outside to our unit and told us we have no freon - it was all gone. He quoted me at $250 per pound and I need at least 6 pounds. While he performed his tuneup he let all of the freon out of our unit. Now our working unit that just needed a tuneup is no longer blowing any cold air. We contacted corporate office and were told that we needed to contact management on Monday as they will not be sending a tech back out and that we should probably call another company if we were not happy. (My husband was very angry, and they refused to deal with us anymore)So they tuned up my ac and now it does not work. MY AC WORKED JUST FINE U NTIL THEIR TECH WORKED ON THISStay away as their techs will damage your unit and they will not fix it. They have refused to put freon back in it even if we paid for it

We have a big two story house with two a/c units. One handles the upstairs and the other one the downstairs. The tech said the unit that we called him out for needed a new capacitor. So for the trip charge and capacitor and a TINY amount of coolant our bill was $545.00.WHAT A RIP-OFF....!!!!!These people are criminals. RUN.....RUN...RUN..... from this company.
