Sunshine Shelly’s Nightmare Harvest

Came here with my wife to get pumpkins. There is not a single pumpkin in the entire field. Paid $14 to come walk around a dry field. Absolute waste.Update: Walking back from the empty field I noticed the large amount of trash strewn around their grounds and also witnessed an u leashed dog (definitely seemed like a friendly dog, but still) roaming around and at one point climbed onto the inflatable bouncer with all the kiddos. Was able to receive a refund but they were also somewhat rude about that. Again, would not recommend this place for your fall fun.

A great place to bring kids. Staff are very friendly and you get to do so much at a reasonable price!

A place for families, adults $7 to enter. We went daytime. Small but several things to do. They have a corn maze that looks really big. We rode the hay ride that takes you all around it. I chose this place in Shawnee so we could go into the pumpkin patch and choose and pick our own. Hint- don't wear open toe shoes! Lol Unfortunately field really dry and only ones left had been sampled by maybe deer. But to my surprise my grandson and husband had fun just walking in the field untill they found several with just a couple of areas on them. Grandson said just turn places in back! He was so happy. Next year we will find another patch to pick your own. Had just like 4 goats to pet and they were not interested.For smaller kids a bounce and a corn box.We found the corn shooter $6 for 5. This is really cool, husband had fun with this!You do pay for your pumpkins for like 40 cents a pound.They had a few nice ones to purchase if not from field.

With tickets costing $12 at the door with a sign that said no refunds, I expect to have a great time but that wasn't my experience at all. I waited in line for an hour and then got on a haystack ride where I thought I was going to be able to get in to the Haunted Maze but boy was I wrong! People could pay $17 to get a fast pass and at any amusement park or concert, fast passes get in quicker but they let some of the people in the regular line go at the same time as well. Not at this place though. The reason I found out it was taking so long was because they let the ENTIRE fast pass line go in before even letting a single person in the regular line in. So whenever that line kept on filling up, it added another 30 minutes to my wait each time. After being there for 2 and a half hours a worker finally came up and said that they were letting people purchase fast passes in my regular line but had told my group that we didn't need to buy one because we were so close (and we were so close). But then they let over 50 people join the fast pass line which brought our wait time to about another hour and a half. Once we saw that it had been 3 hours and we were not going to be getting in any time soon, we left frustrated. We were complaining to a worker and that worker said that a 15 minute maze was not worth a several hour wait and $12. The thing that bothers me the most is that Sunshine Shelly's knows that they are ripping people off because they don't say that anywhere on Facebook that the wait is forever long and they reiterated the fact that we could not be refunded for any reason. They also knew that people would get antsy in line so they told people who had been waiting 3 hours that they could pay an extra $5 to get in faster. This place is ripping people off without a care in the world and it's so wrong. To all of the people that are thinking about going, bring a lawn chair, snacks, and lots of money because you will waiting forever and will be spending a stupid amount of money.

Pumpkin patch side- don't waste your time if you want a good maze. Definitely disappointed. The maze has actual corn growing, roots everywhere that hurt my feet and caused me to trip, they should have used maize so it grows taller and have a thicker maze like the old one use to be here in Shawnee at a different location. No sign pointing you to the maze, minimal turns or dead ends in maze, it basically led me to the exit easily and I could see all around me since it was so short. Minimal outdoor activities for the kids, didn't waste our time on a hay ride around the property. Our $7 per person was basically spent so the kids could bounce on an inflatable pumpkin. Concession stand was overpriced, $3 for a bottle of water. Don't plan to return.

Absolutely no pumpkins this year but no mention of that on Facebook no mention that their sunflower patch is dead either and absolutely no vibes besides the rude ones the girl at the shop is giving off
