Sunrise Cafe

This is a family owned restaurant. My coworkers and I stopped in for breakfast. The restaurant is clean and the tables are spaced far enough apart to give ample seating space, you won't feel crowded by other customers seating nearby.I ordered the plain omelete with cheese and sausage, biscuits and gravy. With an OJ. The meal was pretty good. Everything is made fresh to order.The parking lot is private, there is parking behind the restaurant as well as in front.Cash/Credit/Debit are accepted here.

Good food, reasonably priced, friendly staff. They offer staple menu items, but also daily specials. The mom and pop feel we always look forward to.

OMG this is the breakfast spot! You have to try pile up! It's great! The service is friendly and respectful! Always remember when dealing with waitresses, and waiters, "Respect gets respect!"

I was hopeful going in. The place was packed and the inside looked nice for Altus. The food looked generously portioned and the prices good. That's where the positive image ended. I got my food with a big long hair right in the middle. I get it. Unfortunately that happens sometimes. But I won't come back. And I won't recommend it. After I pulled it out and tried to forget, my friends were finishing their meals and one found a piece of old lettuce in her water. None of our 3 meals had anything to do with lettuce. Hopefully everyone else has a better experience than me.

Small and only open on weekdays till 2 pm but makes it more worth while! Amazing and the staff is so sweet. Reminds me of home!

The food is TERRIFIC, the portions are HUGE, the service is attentive and fast, and the atmosphere is friendly, down-home and has the feeling of a big hug from someone special you haven't seen in forever. Go! Enjoy the ambiance of a small town diner and the feel of being home again.

Americana at its finest. If you find yourself in Altus Oklahoma. The sunrise cafe is a great spot to enjoy an omelette, or chicken fried steak and eggs or whatever country breakfast you desire. Great people and great place.

This is an awesome little hole in the wall. Sunrise cafe is a breakfast/lunch diner. I'm only in town a couple of days and will definitely return before we leave. Good food! Large portions! Friendly service! Inexpensive price!Need I say more?
