The place baffles me, even more than the fact that I still live here even after everything I have seen and experienced. In 2014, we uprooted our lives and moved to OKC, where I had not lived for 13 years. After scouting the apartment and selecting this location based on the quiet neighborhood and area, we selected Summerfield Place. I submitted the application and was completely honest that both my husband and I would be relocating without being employed. To counteract the earning requirements, I provided ample proof that I had access to more than enough to cover rent for a few years, if needed. Everything seemed good to go. Then, 2 days before we were set out to drive halfway across the county, the complex called and things went down hill. The apt manage demanded proof that my husband and I were legally married, because she did not want to give us a free credit report for two people. The issue in her mind was that my husband and I do not share the same last name. Shocked, and a bit over a barrel, I provided my state issued marriage certificate. Okay, not thrilled, but okay this is Oklahoma after all. Then, after driving for 4 days, we arrived to take possession of our apartment, we were informed that the proof of funds was not acceptable, and that they wanted a deposit of 6 months, in order to even be let into the apartment. Also, they demanded that once we had jobs, we needed to provide letters from our employers stating our monthly income. If we did not, we would not be allowed to re-new the lease in May of 2015. So, again, we just gave in and made the nearly $5,000.00 deposit for 6 months of rent. So to sum it up. Our marriage was questioned. I, a woman, was made to feel like a second class citizen who could not possibly function without taking my husband's last name (Shame on the employee who was also a woman). We were extorted into paying for a half year of rent. I was humiliated in that I and my husband had to ask for letters of employment and proof of salary long after we started renting in order to re-new our lease. Basically, they treated us like crap every step of the way. Every time, we get new management staff, I inform them of the issues regarding the deposit. Each time, that person is shocked and states that is not normal or even allowed... but never has CASE & Associates apologized to me or my husband for the humiliation we endured in renting form this place. Just one call from corporate would let me know this was not okay and that someone cares more about people than they do about money. I'm not that naive, but this is a business and the business done here is not good by any means. I've been here for almost 3 1/2 years, the issues with Case & Associates and this property are pretty pervasive. Our experience in regards to repairs and maintenance has been hot and cold. The bathroom floor was rebuild twice, as it leaked into the below unit, but the trim was never repainted; cigarette smoke from one of the units was so bad, we almost had to move. Nothing is level. The pool, is always on lock down. But, once in a while we get a good crew that fixes things correctly. The fact that I still live here is due to an amazing employee; you know who you are. Our current maintenance guys are pretty cool too; but they are spread thin in a place that has not seen an upgrade since the Regan years.

I recently moved here and am in love with the apartment, the complex and the employees. They have been so welcoming. They fix any maintenance problems so quickly and their maintenance team is very friendly.

I can't say enough good things about Summerfield. From the first time we applied to live there to moving out, the entire experience was phenomenal. They maintain the apartments extremely well (installed new carpet for our apartment before we moved in), and they are extremely fast to respond and fix maintenance issues. The apartment complex is down the street from a park, Hefner Lake, Soccer City, gyms, Quail Springs Mall, the Turnpike, the highway to get downtown, grocery stores, and more. It's a great location. The staff at Summerfield are great as well. They always go the extra mile to help out, are extremely friendly, and work hard to ensure your time at Summerfield is great.Financially, I believe it is the greatest valued apartment in Oklahoma City. The location, service, and quality of apartment has to be the best for the price. Plus, you get a 3% discount if you're a student, and when you renew your lease, your rate goes up minimally. I think we paid $594 per month for our first 6-month lease, and we enjoyed it so much we renewed for a whole year, and it only went up to $606.I cannot say enough positive things about Summerfield and highly recommend anyone to live there.

I've lived here twice and found their staff considerate and responsive. I don't care for the Case parent company and their policies, but this staff is tops. Jan is a blast. She responds quickly to issues. Not many issues to speak of. This is an old property so the buildings aren't state of the art, but this location is "to die for". Lake Hefner, Bluff Creek Trails, Convenient shopping.

I really cannot believe that anyone would write a bad review regarding Case Management or Summerfield Place Apartments. The Maintenance staff act very quickly to anyone's concerns. The office staff is always helpful and know me by name, and my family also. The community is Quiet and hidden from the OKC "hustle and bustle." I would highly recommend Summerfield Place Apartments to anyone looking for a place to call home! Thank you Case Management for placing the Property Manager in her position, she and her staff are AWESOME!

I have lived at Summerfield Apartments for months and, for the first time, I'd like to take the time to rate this complex. While there have been a number of things I have appreciated about this complex during my lease, THE MOST IMPRESSIVE LIFTS SEEM TO BE COMING WITH THE NEW MANAGER, Stacy Tucker. This apartment complex is in a LOVELY and ABSOLUTELY UNIQUE LOCATION (so far as my search has gone). It is tucked away in the most pastoral, quiet section of the city that I have seen. When you wake up, you don't hear cars and gas station traffic--you hear birds! The complex itself is QUIET and the residents are low-key and friendly. The maintenance staff is helpful, PROMPT and respectful. The property is CLEAN and well-kept. The layout of the apartments is really cute and the COST is, I think, THE MOST REASONABLE for its stature. There are a number of amenities and luxuries that I have not found anywhere else for this price (and in combination with the other benefits of this property). The OFFICE STAFF is truly incredible. Darlene is eager to help with anything she possibly can--above and beyond the call of duty--and, again, Stacy is really ADDING TO THE REPUTATION of this property IN JUST WEEKS' TIME! I feel absolutely welcome to make requests or voice concerns and, furthermore, I am absolutely certain that they will be handled appropriately and quickly. She doesn't treat you like it's a bother to meet your needs as a resident. She is EAGER TO SERVE THE RESIDENTS & TO KEEP IMPROVEMENTS COMING at this location (as opposed to cases where you feel like your money is just being taken for someone's profit with as little in return as possible). I have also seen her treatment of staff on site and it is impressive as well. TO be honest, even with some necessary life changes, I am LOOKING FOR WAYS TO STAY LONGER at this particular property. VERY THANKFUL FOR THIS FIND!!!! If you're looking for a GREAT PLACE to live in OKC, LOOK HERE. Office hours are super accommodating as well.
