My boyfriend and I had a lovely time here! They had football on the TV with some recliners to finish our glass of wine. The lady who gave us our tasting was very nice and knowledgeable.

Amazing wines. Some of our Corvette trip crew stopped for females and gear wines. We purchased several. Dr. Gary and his wife did a great job telling us the secrets to their great wines. Shopping items there also!

I've driven by this place so many times and it's always made me so curious! Well, I finally decided to stop by and I'm so glad I did. Not only do they make some tasty wines, but I love their story on how Strebel Creek Vineyard came to be. The winemaker is actually a practicing OBGYN and his wife runs the gift shop. After years of hobby winemaking, they decided to covert their barn into a winery and gift shop. His wife, Sherry, was very knowledgeable and did a great job walking us through all the wines. Once we were done sampling in the wine tasting room, we bought a couple of bottles and we purchased a couple of glasses to sip on out on their patio. Strebel Creek is TRULY a hidden gem. If you don't pay enough attention, you could easily drive past it. If you enjoy a nice glass of wine, you should check them out!

This place has the best wine made in Oklahoma. Period. Every single wine, from light and dry to full bodied and sweet, has been crafted amazingly well. To top it off, a beautiful creek side patio and the conversation to be had with the irreplaceable host couple, Drs Gary and Sherry Strebel, make this an unforgettable place. Don't let the roadside placement fool you. A different and very friendly world awaits you inside Strebel Creek Vineyard, and you'll be glad you came. You'll also find an amazing assortment of gifts in their large gift shop, but come for the wine and then enjoy everything- and everyone- that comes with it.

We love it when the wine maker is also the wine pourer! Being from the Applegate Valley in Oregon it was interesting to hear about how grapes are grown and wines are made and sold in Oklahoma. The wine was all too sweet for my palette but my hubby liked it!

In the VERY limited winery market in the Oklahoma City area, this place offers quality wine in an accessible and unpretentious setting. This would not be a 5-star vineyard in Napa, but deserves a visit if you're looking for a vineyard experience in OKC.The locale: Unsuspecting sign for "wine and gift shop" on a city street leads to a hidden barn and vineyard. You first walk into a gift shop, which is cluttered with your typical trinkets and wine paraphernalia and the wine tasting occurs in a room off to the side. They have a typical small island bar where you sit to taste the wine. The room is cramped by random furniture and inventory, but I imagine when it's busy the extra seating is necessary. It feels very "homey" and the owners will amplify that feeling as they tell stories about their lives on the property, the history behind the wines, the wine labels, and the business. The wine: They have a decent variety of wines to try, ranging from very dry to very sweet. They have the classics like cabernet, merlot, and chardonnay as well as more local favorites such as very sweet blends. The winemaker is knowledgeable about the properties of the different grapes and wines and shares his opinions with you throughout the tasting. As far as local wines go I found several of them to be very good. Some were VERY sweet and fruity, which apparently are very popular with the sweet palate of the locals but several of the wines were more complex and serious. Some of the grapes are grown locally which is also fun.The people: The owners are an adorable couple who we found to be personable and friendly. It was not particularly busy when we went and we were immediately greeted and able to taste. The bill: The tasting was free! All the wines range from $14-20/bottle. For this affordable price the experience is very accessible and worth a try!

I'm far from what you'd call a connoisseur of wines, but I know good wine when I taste it, and this is definitely worth a try.I've driven past this unassuming metal Butler building on North MacArthur Boulevard many times, but I've never seen it open to the public. I drove past one Sunday afternoon, and there was an open sign out on the street, so I stopped and decided to take a look and ended up taking several tastes. I'm a native Californian, so I should have a definite bias to California wines. Then in my travels once, I discovered a Washington State winery, and added it to my list of favourites. I'd never in my wildest dreams thought that Oklahoma would have any wineries, but by golly....Mr. Strebel himself was my host, and we went into the tasting room after I browsed the little boutique in the front room. I tasted 8 of their 13 varieties, and I was impressed in about as many ways with each variety.Reasonably priced at less then $20/bottle, I think I'll start keeping some of this around.
