Stonebrook Event Center

A beautiful and affordable venue featuring a large reception hall and outdoor garden. Formerly the Silver Pitcher, it's undergone an extensive renovation and the newly landscaped property boasts an arbor perfect for outdoor weddings. Owned by Conventions & More, they'll have every thing you'll need from table cloths to outdoor tents in one place. There's plenty of parking and it's located just off of I-240 or 1-35.

I attended a wedding there this evening. The facility is nice. Not fancy, but it is very nice. The food provided by the facility was above average. This buffet consisted of garden salad with cheddar, croutons with Italian & Ranch dressings, seasoned green beans, mac n cheese, mashed potatoes & gravy, sliced brisket (w/bbq sauce on the side), fried chicken, roasted chicken, and rolls. The only things I didn't care for on the buffet were the salad dressings. They were the poor quality soy bean oil based nasty kind. (I'm spoiled by home made ranch dressing, the kind you get at places like Mazzio's etc.) The fried chicken was fair (hot deli case quality). Everything else was excellent!! The food was kept hot. The server (attendant) was very polite and kept the tables bused. The minister and DJ were hired in and are not part of the venue or this review. I would recommend this venue. My girlfriend and I and our friends had a great time.

I held my daughter's wedding reception there. It was fantastic! They were extremely accommodating and worked with us to make the night very special. On top of that, they were one of the most affordable venues that we could find. I highly recommend using them for any event.
