05-14-2024 5:45 PM. We went to Stone Mill BBQ and Steakhouse for the all-you-can-eat BBQ ribs on Tuesdays since we had not been there in years. We were asked if we wanted to sit in the bar or main dining room and we chose the bar. It was a good choice--much quieter. I liked the nautical themed bar too. We were greeted by "Princess" and she took our drink order. When she returned with drinks, we ordered the AYCE BBQ rib dinners; mine with Stone Mill potatoes and green beans and my wife ordered the tabouli and fried okra. She said the tabouli was really good. I liked my potato's and green beans. [I like pepper!] I could not have ordered more ribs after eating what was first delivered. They were good and filling. Almost didn't get a picture. The service and food were great.

We walked in & was greeted with all smiles. We were seated & the waitress came & took our order. We ordered the onion rings as an appetizer & they were great! Crunchy and hot! My dinner came & I was a little disappointed. My fried okra was hot but the rest of my meal was lukewarm I have a rule of NOT sending food back if I intend to eat it, so I didn't complain (although my husband wanted me to send it back) My husband & son enjoyed their food (so I'm guessing my meal was plated before my okra was done cooking & then sent out) either way, my husband eats here often for lunch & enjoys coming, so I will give it another try. I ordered the 2 meat dinner (turkey & smoked ham) with Mac & cheese & fried okra.

Exceeded expectations.I eat out all over the country. Thought I would try on a Thursday afternoon while in town. Very polite and competent staff. Prices perfectly in line with quality of food and service. Nice atmosphere. Good selection.3 Meat Combo Dinner. I will be back next time in town.

Meh...Nothing was terrible yet nothing was great.A Friday night date night and a new location for barbecue saw us at Stonemill bbq and steaks.I ordered a 3 meat combo; Ribs, chopped brisket & pulled pork.Bland describes all 3. The pulled pork slightly tomatoey. The chopped brisket slightly dry, the meat was not too over cooked but had a very minimal flavor profile.My sides were the baked potato and Mac and cheese.(I originally ordered their Stonemill potatoes but sent it back after 2 bites.(It was bland and reminded me of cafeteria potatoes)-they were not bad tasting but not as tasty as advertised.The Banana pudding was pretty good.The prices were not extravagant (I would have hated it if I paid more) but a return is not likely

We went on a Monday afternoon, around 1pm. It wasn't too busy, but wasn't empty, either. The decor is rustic wood and stone suitable for a BBQ place. It's nice, but not outstanding.The portions are large, and the bread is warm, yeasty, and delicious. Main course food was alright. It had good flavor but lacked presentation and oomph. It was very much like a BBQ style diner (not dinner, but a diner that serves bbq). The fried okra was very fried, almost to the point of burnt. The green beans had bacon in them, were flavorful, and you really can't mess that up. I ordered the 2-meat plate with bologna and polish sausage. The bologna could have used something other than being sliced. Perhaps slice it thicker and throw it on a griddle or grill before serving. Anything would make it more special than how it was served. The polish sausage had good flavor and was not overcooked or dry. The service was great! Our drinks stayed full, and she was available just enough to not be hovering. 5 stars for the waitress.Overall, 3 stars for being decent. Also, 3 stars for not going the extra inch to make it great.

We live fairly close & decided to give it a try. The seating is mostly all large tables & no booths. In that respect it feels "cafeteria-ish". By the name, you would expect a rustic type interior & decor. But, it's all over the place - western, rustic, with a little Indiana Jones thrown in. No identity! All that aside, the food was good. My husband ordered bbq sausage, brisket & catfish. I ordered grilled shrimp and baked potato. The portions were large & the prices reasonable. The bread & honey butter is every bit as good as Texas Roadhouse. Service was good & friendly. Only reason for not giving 4 stars is the seating & atmosphere.

We love this place, I'm not sure why it's not busting at the seems with customers, we have enjoyed this deliciousness three times now, we usually eat early around 3-4 pm on Saturdays, literally the only two people in the restaurant eating!! So if you want delicious and fairly priced food, go check it out.
