This venue recently changed ownership, so our review is written with that in mind as our wedding was with the prior owners. Overall, we had a beautiful wedding and mostly everyone was impressed!Pros: Value to price for the inclusive package is nearly unbeatable, even if you diy. Scenery is beautiful and there is plenty of space for the reception. Freedom to choose catering and other options without the ridiculous guidelines of other venues. Very relaxed and calm atmosphere, a true rustic and bare bones type of place.Neutral: The location is a bit out there. This affected cell service and catering options for us, so keep that in mind. This venue really feels about 90% complete. Our wedding was at the end of 2019 and we thought the place would have been a bit more polished by then. It really skirts being rustic for rustic's sake and instead kinda felt more like they just skimped out in a few places.Cons: The bathrooms are largely unfinished and were pretty dirty to go along with poor lighting. There were no hooks in the grooms suite so the suits had to be draped over chairs. The path leading out to the ceremony area has larger sized loose gravel and uneven loose concrete stepping stones. This was a problem with those in heels and with older guests which really needs to be addressed. The following review is of our experience with the prior owners. We want to share it in matters of transparency, but in fairness to the new owners, this is not affecting the star rating either way. We received an introductory price as we were among the first to book here. The price has now changed, but was amazing for all that we got. From start to finish 11 months later, we only dealt with 1 person. They wore every hat including photographer, organizer, planner, etc. Because of this, things were a bit unorganized from time to time. All the way up to a few days before our date they were still trying to source a few things that was part of our package. Fortunately, they did come through and we had all that was promised. For the day of our wedding, everything went mostly smoothly. The owner and her friend decided to wear random tshirts, yoga pants, and pony tails. We found this pretty tacky, and unfortunately they are now forever immortalized in our various wedding photos and videos looking this way. They also brought a young boy about 10-11. He mostly ran around and ate desserts and talked to guests, but we wish they had asked if it was okay. We had a smaller wedding without many kids, so this is likely why it stuck out so much. While the planning was mostly alright and she did a decent job wrangling groups, we did have to go hunting for her a few times throughout the day. We were grateful that she worked as hard as she did, but we also felt like it would have been a HUGE improvement if she had simply hired some help or sought professional advice before trying her hand at it. We felt a lot of their growing pains, and it really didn't seem fair at times. I'm assuming that's probably part of why there are new owners however. If we had to do it all over again, we would. And we would certainly take a gamble with the new owners as well. We have talked to the new owners a few times and they have been very kind and helpful in tying up a few loose ends. Please, check this place out!

I attended a wedding here, these are just my observations, hopefully to enlighten the owners from a guest perspective, and to enlighten those who are thinking of having there wedding at still meadows. 1. Beautiful outside area for an outside wedding.2. Large pole barn like structure that one can have their reception in, with 2 nicely decorated rooms for both groom and bride parties to dress and chill. 3. Perfect for a warmer weather wedding, not sure if this is year around, but it was cold , cannot imagine a late November to March wedding at this venue. 4. No kitchen here at all. 5. Receptions need to be catered, not sure if they have a venue they use or if the couple pick there own, but was not impressed. Food was in tin foil pans and were not even heated in chafing pans with sterno cans! The food which I'm sure was prepared well turned out less then mediocre due to it not being heated or kept warm. 6. Venue had a little shuttle to take guest from parking lot to where Wedding was to be held. 7. They had a fun photo booth type area, it was for 3 hours, BUT, the 3 hours started at the wedding time. Which was at 5pm so everyone was at the ceremony, who in the world would be doing photos while a ceremony was going on, then you have wedding photos to take, reception time, your eating not doing photos. I just didn't think that is right ,couples pay a lot to have these fun activities and to cheat their time is just not right! I say to you if your wedding starts at 5p tell the owners you do not want the photo booth to start till 6:30p or later. When everyone realized it was there the owner was saying it's 8:00 pm the 3 hours are up! I just was SMH8. Bride was missing flowers. She had paid for this service through this venue, nothing was done to reimburse her for the missing flowers. Now to the owners:1. Dress accordingly, if the bride and groom are in jeans by all means where jeans, but if everyone is dressed well, then don't wear jeans, I found it very distasteful to see wedding pictures being taken durning the ceremony where everyone is beautifully dressed seeing someone in jean shorts, that's the photographer taking pictures! I have you dressed like that in my photos2. Be patient with the bride, groom, their families and friends. This is the most exciting time for them, plus they shelled out a nice amt of money to have a full service wedding, so don't complain, be frustrated, roll your eyes, etc.. you are in the people service business, if you are going to be like that, maybe you missed your calling. I heard and saw you do all those things. Very distasteful. 3. This couple had the Venus from 9am- 12 midnight, Don't complain that they are still there at 10 pm. Unbelievable. 4. Thankfully the Bride and Groom most likely didn't pay any attention to this, but I sure did. Not impressed. Now for those who are thinking of having their wedding here. Reread what I wrote. There are l literally hundreds of wedding venues. Do your homework, ultimately great customer service matters , and this is lacking here at Still Meadows, I heard the owner complain about how messy people were, really? Even if they were, keep your mouth shut, you never know who may be listening.

Our family threw us a 25th anniversary party there, and we absolutely loved the venue!! Everything was organized, and the new owners were very friendly! The venue is gorgeous on the inside! What we loved most was the photo booth! It kept everyone entertained, and all the guests seemed to love it too! We even got all pictures emailed to us afterwards which was a nice extra. The bathrooms were big enough for our whole party, and the kitchen included a refrigerator, freezer, and sink! Everything was very clean! I highly recommend this venue!!

I had my wedding at Still Meadows under the new management and it was an absolutely wonderful day!! Chris and Nicole were so attentive to our needs, and went above and beyond to help us in any way possible. We had a little under 250 people at our wedding, and it was beautiful. We did the all inclusive package, which allowed us to relax and enjoy our wedding care free. I highly recommend Still Meadows to any one looking for a beautiful venue ran by wonderful people!
