This is such a fun and colorful park! My 3yo loved it and the view of the lake is an extra perk while sitting watching your littles.

Park playground a 5 star. Also the scenery and layout a 5 star.Short 15 min drive from the house. The safety out there... Not bad as OKCPD did drive through a couple of times while we were there. There was quite a few people out on the day we went. I was sad to see Porta potties there vs the bathrooms being open... But I guess that's how it goes off season?Porta potties don't have sanitizer in them .... UnfortunateWill try to get out here again sometime... already have Lion children's park on the radar for next time.Respectfully,BryanYukon, Oklahoma

A rocket themed park, astronaut statue, Eisenhower memorial, lake, and Bob Hope pavilion all in one place. The kids and dog enjoyed playing here and there were also some playing fields next to it (assuming baseball and soccer).

The park doesn't look like much because the toys are old but there are several different levels of structures there and it's right by the lake which makes it really nice. A great place to fly kites or take a little walk or play by the water when you're tired of the toys. We enjoyed it.

Okay, so pros first - 1) lots of playscapes for the kids, giving enough variety for different ages. 2) decent skate park and workout area 3) lots of ducks and wildlife. Now for the cons - 1) dirty! The playground area most specifically around the pavilion area was filthy. There was trash everywhere. There was also trash all around the flag area. 2) Aside from the trash there was also poop (im assuming bird) everywhere...you couldn't even walk on the sidewalks 3) There was actually a dead animal along the walking path. I turned quickly to avoid it and having my toddler traumatized lol. I dunno...i expected much nicer based upon the reviews. It was not even like a Monday after the weekend...this is the state of the park on a Thursday afternoon.

This is a nice little park next to a lake. There are lots of geese and a playground area. The area had bike and a walking path. Great place to entertain a 5 year old for a couple of hours. There was much more playground area but I didn't take pictures do to all the children. I didn't think it would be right without permission to do so.

Great park with lots of fun things to see and do. The space theme is great, and offers fun things, like crawling up a spaceship. There is also a fitness area not too far off that has plenty of exercise equipment to keep busy the novices and experts alike.

When it's 60 degrees in December, I simply cannot bring myself to go to the gym. So I do my little three-mile trek around the lake, with Stars & Stripes as the main point of my walk. A path maximizes the amount of time spent walking directly along the shoreline. The promontory juts out over the lake, and offers one of the most sweeping views of the lake. I don't have kids, but if I did, this would be one of the top playgrounds to visit. There's also plenty of parking, and ducks and geese for the kiddos to feed. This is just one small part of the beautiful Lake Hefner, but it's one of my favorites and worth a review.

It's a great little park on the water with a playground for kids and running/biking trails too. Many 5k runs start and end here, and the running/biking paths are scenic enough for being in the middle of a big urban area. They have public bathrooms too, so bonus!

This park was so fun and a beautiful location! There were lots of unique features for kids of all ages to play on. One thing I saw as a problem was that the park is surrounded by water and visibility of all angles of the park was obstructed. But the park was a ways away from the water so I was never concerned as long as I kept up with my toddlers. The park was well kept as well. No bathrooms from what I could see.
