Snapper Shack

Not sure why they 3 stars. Great little place in town. Inside is decorated nice and kind of surf/nautical. Fun place. Patio available too. Price was excellent for what you get.

Snapper Shack is a true gem in our little town. Staff is so friendly and service is fast. The restaurant is usually very clean and comfortable. The food is delicious, not what you would expect from a small town restaurant. My favorite meal is the salmon caesar salad. My husband likes their ribeye and shrimp boil. We loved the shrimp tacos and coconut shrimp. The owners are lovely people! There's a previous review about poor service, we eat here weekly and have never had a poor experience. He also mentioned the fries being bad, they're handcut and delicious.

Lot of positives about this place such as: it is very clean, staff was friendly and it was decorated well. The Red Snapper was cooked perfectly with great grill marks. The vegetables were really good and spiced well. The rice was also very good. On the other hand, the shrimp skewer lacked a lot. The shrimp was way over cooked and hard to eat. Also, the skewer had a grilled lemon, don't know why but it had a very bitter taste. Couldn't tell it was a lemon until you taste it. It did just open and we will go back and try other items.

1st time here and the lady taking the order was extremely rude and not helpful at all- fish and oysters weren't good at all hoping i don't get sick and almost 40$ it was thrown on top of the nastiest limp greasy fries I've ever seen- nasty, greasy not fresh at all- save your money and go to Blake Shelton's restaurant

Place was clean. Food was fresh and awesome. Have the platter with fish and shrimp and a side of gumbo. Highly recommend

I'm giving it 2 stars because the food was decent. The service was some of the worst I have ever had in my life. I'll start by saying I ordered wings as an appetizer. Then I ordered a steak dinner and a side of snapper and a bottled coke to come out with my steak. My steak came out. They forgot the coke but quickly got it once I mentioned it. That's it then when I asked where my wings app and my side of snapper were they told me I never ordered it. I even wanted to try the cheesecake but the lack of common courtesy gave me a sour taste in my mouth. I really wanted to try the snapper. Such a disappointment.
