Tonight was my first time going to Smokies and I was VERY impressed! I'm a smoked bologna fan and too many BBQ joints I've tried have failed on their smoked bologna, NOT SMOKIES! It was the best I had in a long time. Try a slab! Only $4 for the best smoked bologna in a long time. Staff was great! Portions were large! Enjoyed the sauces, highly recommend!

2-ish on a Saturday afternoon, only one other booth was taken. Ambiance - We were seated at a booth with an empty beer bottle on the table. The table and menus were sticky and left our hands sticky as well.They server came and took our order, brought our drinks, then food, then never returned. We had to go to counter for drink refills and a take home container. We've been here before and the food was stellar; not so much this time, kind a meh. One of the items brought to the table was not incorrect. Other barbecue places have better food without the stickiness from tables or menus. Next time we'll do take out and hope the food is better.

This place is great. Excellent brisket and the May Special (Nachos) are the bomb. The chicken is phenomenal also. We hit this place up about every week. Yes, that's how good it is.

I have been going to Smokies BBQ for a long time, around 10 years or so now. Although I don't visit them too often, their quality of food is always "GREAT". As you know, maintaining a good consistency in food quality is one of the hardest things to achieve in any restaurant and they somehow got it right like clockwork. One of the first things, you notice is that they don't call themselves smokies if you can't smell their hickory smoke in the parking lot. It makes your mouth watery instantly. Their dine-in area isn't big, very crowded at times. They do have an outdoor patio for overflowing crowds now. But it's not shaded and can get pretty hot on summer days.Let's talk about the BBQ. Everything is darn tasty but we are always drawn to the Smokies Fat Boy Platter because it has a nice variety of food. It has brisket, pork, hotlinks, sausage, ribs, chicken bologna, ham, and a few sides such as potato salad, slaw, and Texas toast. I think their ham, bologna, chicken, and hotlinks are particularly special because I don't think anyone in town can top that so far. The ribs are solid (not the completely fall-off-the-bone type and are flavorful). However, the brisket is a bit dry for me.By the way, their sides are all very good, my favorites are the Atomic slaw & BBQ beans.

The food here is solid! Meat is nice and tender and has a good flavor to it, they have good BBQ Sauce options, the sidewinders are absolutely amazing. One individual at my tables onion rings got a little over cooked however the server did offer to replace them to fix the mistake which is good service!Our server did an absolutely wonderful job at taking care of our party of 15, to include all the other guests that came in while we were present that caused them to have a full house. The environment of the restaurant is nice, however the place was pretty cold as well as the place is small so as a result it can be crowded as well as noisy very fast. This is can be specific to me, but it is a downfall in my opinion so if a compact restaurant isn't a problem then the place overall is great!

Date of Check in 4/19/23Smokies has the best brisket and slaw I have had in the Tulsa area. The fried okra, beans, and fries are all decent, but the slaw is my favorite. It has an ominous name, "Atomic Slaw." Don't be frightened. It is a delicious slaw recipe that is pleasantly spiked with hot peppers. It is the absolutely perfect layer of flavor to pile on top of a large stacked pile of brisket then cover with the top bun to make a mouthwatering sandwich. The tender brisket and the slaw complement each other. An impeccable BBQ sandwich. This is what to eat at Smokies.Even though I know what is the best, I like to test the menu. Today ribs; Atomic Slaw mandatory, add fried okra. The basket was full with four lean meaty ribs, enough fried okra for both me and my wife and a cup of slaw. The server delivered a small plate of essential BBQ condiments (peppers, pickles and onions) to accompany the meal. The ribs were meaty, tender and lean. For my taste, a little too much garlic in the rub, but good with a little sauce to tone down the garlic. Smokies has the Oklahoma standard BBQ sauce "Head Country" and "Ranger Creek." I hate both. Too sweet. There were a couple of other sauces offered that I had not heard of, Ja-Ru and Sa-Mokin. The waiter said that they were made locally. I tried them both. Not bad. Eat Brisket and Atomic Slaw at Smokies!

Great family owned BBQ joint doing it right. The brisket was perfect with a huge smoke ring and perfectly seasoned bark. Both servers were fast, friendly and super attentive. We came in looking for a snack and left stuffed. Great prices compared to chains with high quality bbq and great side dishes. The Resturant itself is old school with a divey atmosphere.

I walked in to place an order for the following day. When asked what I would like, I explained that I was ordering for a family event and wasn't sure what the best option was. One of the nice young ladies sat me down and explained their options to me, which really made the process easy. Evert staff member I encountered was friendly and professional. When I arrived the following day to pick up my order, they were busily building my order, on time. They even offered to help me take it to my car. All of the food was packed very well, and tasted amazing. The family was not disappointed. Well done, Smokies! We will be back!

Food was good. Restaurant floor and tables were dirty Service was adequate but by no means outstanding. The staff acts as though they would rather be anywhere but there working. Loved the "sidewinders".
