First time to stop by And try their food . It was awesome, I got the barbecue Frito pie which I've had in different places and this one was one of the best and plenty of it . And the dessert was awesome. The owner Shonda was very nice . Definitely will go back !!!

Shonda's is amazing! We were passing through from Denver to Dallas and decided to take a chance and it paid off. Incredible Bar-b-que and the Blueberry Bottom Cake was perfect! Shonda is the nicest and we'll always stop by on our cross country trips!

Such a nice lady, I just got my wisdom teeth out and she accommodated perfectly and gave me food I could eat! The food taste great too:)

First time to visit today-- this tiny little take-out place was suggested by a friend. I can see why all the locals love it so much! We had the special for the day-- fried chicken, green beans, mashed potatoes with gravy, yeast roll, annnnnnd banana pudding. Everything was comfort-food fabulousness! Fresh, hot, and seasoned to southern perfection-- juicy, hand-breaded chicken, buttery mashed potatoes, and green beans to rival my Granny's-- seasoned with bacon and onions. The banana pudding was don't-care-about-the-calories-scrape-your-plate wonderful! I can't wait to visit again! I would've taken a photo, but I was too busy shoveling food in my face. I'll try to restrain myself next time, so I can post some food-porn

We were driving thru Clarendon from Co to Dallas and we were pleasantly surprised to find this GemShonda came highly recommend by a local. She did not disappoint! Fresh,hot food delivered with a smile! Next time we travel thru we will definitely stop. We all ordered breakfast and it was made hot and delicious. I would love to try lunch next time! From all of her reviews anything Shonda makes is worth the stop. It is pick up only so call aheadWe hope she has a sit down restaurant next time thru. She deserves it!

On our way to Dallas and found this gem! What a wonderful home cooked meal we had! Chicken fried steak, , mashed potatoes and the best green beans! Will definitely go back on our next trip through Clarendon!

Don't hesitate, drove through on Sunday afternoon and it was the only place open. Glad it was, very good barbecue 3 meat plate w it's 2 sides for 12$. Easy to miss, it's on the east bound side across from the trading post giraffe.

What a great find! Shonda was so kind and made the most delicious crispy chicken salads! Even prepared chicken strips and fries for our son even though that wasn't the menu for the day. It's worth the stop if you're traveling through Clarendon!
