Sheesh Mahal

Sheesh is some of my favorite food in all of OKC.Everyone is always so friendly and just walking in the door I start salivating.Please do yourself a favor and get both the Butter Chicken AND two deals of Garlic Naan.You will be the happiest person around.

I keep giving this place a chance. It's mediocre. Not sure why their food is so much better at catered events. My go to dishes (hard to mess up) -Seekh kabab w naan and Raita. No flavor in the meat and the Raita (sauce) was too watery. I can't stand this place sorry.

Consistently well made true Pakistani foodLove their naans. If you dare try the chilli one. Keema, chicken karahi are my fav. Kids will love cheese naan. Good prompt service. Decent ambience. I wish they would open a little later than their usual hours.

In a search for good Indian food this place showed up as number one. Upon arrival we noticed that this place was not Indian. It was Pakistani. 1) Place was clean and welcoming.2) Service was quick. This is more of a quick food spot. 3) The food was delicious. Ordered several dishes and all were excellent!Great sauces. The meat in the dishes was soft ans delicious.The vegetable dishes were also excellent.I recommend you give them try. Great food and delicious dishes!

Everything was very flavorful. Hearty portions for a reasonable price. I rarely eat Indian food and even more rarely eat at the same place twice, but I will be back.Samosa and tikka masal were very tasty and flavorful. Gol gappay was interesting - glad I tried it. Cold appetizer of crispy fried vessels with sauce and chickpeas inside.Service and restaurant hit the vibe perfectly. Definitely not an upscale place but a spectacular restaurant nonetheless

A year ago or more Sheesh Mahal was the go-to place for local Indian food. Truly disappointed that the quality has gone downhill so far on some dishes. I suppose inflation took its toll. The Mixed Vegetables were almost entirely potato, and the Aloo Bangan was also heavy on potato rather than eggplant. Even the samosa was filled with grease soaked potato and nothing more - not even good spices. However, the Butter Chicken was delicious! Creamy and rich, with tender chicken that went perfect on their white rice, and you can't miss the never-fail garlic naan. We love the staff, a kind and attentive crew, but I'd say management needs to order (and use) some actual vegetables even if it means raising the prices a dollar or two.

Let's do Sheesh Mahal again!No higher praise can be given than having a place coming to mind over and over again when you are trying to decide where to go for lunch. Note that I am reviewing the food here. Sheesh Mahal is a low cost spot to get really great food. It is not "fine dining" with white table cloths, 18/10 flatware, etc. It is my go to location for amazing flavor and some of the best naan I have ever had.The food is incredible. I need to use the QR code to access the phone based menus. The single page laminated menu doesn't give me enough detail to know what I am ordering, but the digital menu is very helpful. You are served hot tea and water upon arrival. The food comes out quickly and is always hot and spiced to spec.The people are very friendly and helpful if you are not sure what to try on a first visit. Go and try it. Know that you will be eating with plastic ware and foam plates, but the food you will be having is some of the best in the central plains!

I love coming to Sheesh Mahal. They have the best menu and prices! The service is unmatched. The owner is so very kind. I suggest going in a group and ordering a bunch of different things to share so you could try everything! I've tried most of the dishes and there isn't anything I don't like about them. You can adjust the spiciness of the food. I love that if you bring kids they give the kids little juice boxes. Big groups are great. They are always busy but the food is always fresh and perfect. I highly recommend Sheesh Mahal!

Do not underestimate this restaurant from the outside because it packs some real flavor! There is plenty to choose from off their menu no matter what your diet is. You might want to do some research before you go on what the dish actually is unless you're really familiar with this kind of cuisine. There are so many things I want to try so I will be back for more.

Food is consistently fantastic! Dine in is nice, carry out easy. You can't go wrong! Eat here
