I love Shall we Dance?. My husband and I started taking lessons for our wedding 4 years ago and just didn't stop. All the staff are knowledgeable and very helpful. They want to see you succeed. Dancing is so good for the mind, body, and spirit. This particular studio is like my home away from home. I know trying new things can be intimidating, however this is one of the best new things I have ever done. Tbh, I would sell my motorcycle before I quit dancing.

I recently got married, & took 5 dance lessons leading up to it. The lessons were great with our instructor (I don't recall his name, but he's the only instructor we worked with the entire time). A few days before the wedding, per our package, I did a dress rehearsal in my wedding dress to ensure I could do the moves. While in my dress, a woman - who my mom and I assumed to be the owner - was extremely rude and unprofessional. She told me that my "art" (half-sleeve tattoo), while she loves "art", does not match with my dress. Something about how the lines of the tattoo don't coincide with the cut/sleeve of my dress, that if I wanted the tattoo to look good I should have gotten a different dress; that while my "art" and my dress were independently pretty, together you couldn't really see either. And so if she were me, she would have someone cover up my tattoo for the wedding day so it will look better. All of this was entirely unsolicited. I stood there nodding, looking at my mom on the side of the dance floor trying not to cry or yell at her. Again, this was 3 days before my wedding, and a complete stranger told me that my body doesn't look good in my wedding dress and I should alter my look on wedding day to fix that. Sad, because I would have highly recommended that dance lessons prior to this.I hope she reads this and understands how inappropriate her unsolicited opinions were, and sticks to her job from now on.

My husband and I haven't had this much fun since I can't remember when! Very laid back atmosphere, a friendly group of dancers of all skill levels, great music from the past and the present, and wonderful, fun instructors. You can come and learn a new dance each week on Friday nights from 7 to 8 o'clock. Then from 8 to 10 o'clock, the lights are turned down low and its open dancing. Such a great way to get some exercise and socialize at the same time. We couldn't get enough dancing on Friday nights, so we enrolled in private lessons where we are learning at our own pace. Don't look for us any time soon on Dancing With the Stars, but you may find us on any given night having a blast at Shall We Dance!!
