Scissortail RV Park

My husband took a job where we have to travel around and we ended up in ada for his job, this rv park I ADORE! The property is kept in such good condition, great quality people who are staying there or coming in to stay overnight. The lady who runs the park is so sweet and friendly. We now have stayed at a handful of rv parks and this one still is my favorite! Not sure if it's because it was our first time in Oklahoma and we just loved the experience or what but it was a very simple rv park. But the property was beautiful and at night you can see firefly's, we also saw two deers running through. If you need some where safe and clean definitely stay here! This was the first RV park i parked my (first!) camper in, and it was absolutely wonderful. I work in Ada but live around OKC, i was nervous having never owned my own camper and leaving it while i was home. But i always felt safe there--and i felt that my things were safe while i was gone! The concrete pads are a life saver. The park is also well maintained, and well lit which i appreciate as a single woman! Dana, though no longer there, was incredibly helpful with tips and tricks for camper living and was always around if i had any questions or concerns! The bathrooms and laundry room were always clean. Can't say enough good things about Scissortail RV Park! Can't wait to come back and stay again.

Very quiet, clean and well maintained. Ideal for those who are traveling without children. Camp host is very nice and welcoming.

I called them with plenty of daylight still left. Told them I was on my way to Ada. I needed two spots because I have to go to the doctor very early in the morning. The guy I talk to did not seem like he cared much about anything he just let me know that it was going to be dark and he wasn't gonna be there but like I said, there was plenty of daylight left but glad I didn't get a place there now his tone over the phone would have set the mood rather nasty in person.

Thank you for working with me. Since you are so close it is very hard to keep my dog on my side of road after 2 yrs of being welcome there. He is a dog that likes the outside. I am. working on a couple things to make it better.

This place is awesome! Miranda is so friendly. The spots are all concrete pads so they are level and all are full hook ups with up to 50 amp. Free cable & wifi. They have bathrooms with showers and a laundry mat on site. If you are staying in the area this is a great spot! Highly recommend.

I travel with my husband for work. We've been all over the country and stayed in many different RV parks. i have to say this is one of our favorites! The park is new and as of today is actually still being built. They are adding new spots everyday! Each spot is a concrete pad. They have restrooms and a small laundry room onsite. The other RV parks in the area look a bit sketchy to me so I'm glad we found this place! I have to say our favorite thing about Scissortail RV Park is the park hosts Pete and his wife Pam. They are the kindest, friendliest RV park hosts we have EVER run across! If you're traveling through Ada in an RV, this is the place to stay!!!!!!
