We placed a takeout order and was told it would take 15 minutes. I arrived at the restaurant 15 minutes later and the Hostess was so rude. She did not even acknowledge me for a good 5 minutes. I had to tell her that I was there to pick up my order. She didn't even ask my name and said that it wasn't ready and to get in line. 45 minutes later. She asks my name and says she'll go check. Loooong wait later . I get the food and start driving home and I get a call from the Hostess saying the left out a whole roll. She did not say sorry or offer any compensation or solution to the problem. She said I can come back and get it or..... (silence). I asked for a refund for the roll and she said they don't do that. After all of that the food was bland, fish was not fresh. The sushi rice was barely seasoned and the miso soup had just enough miso to make the water brown. No taste. Will not be returning. Do not recommend

Solid place to eat for lunch. I almost went with the Tuesday & Thursday special but decided I'll do that another time.I not only like this place it's literally right acting the corner from my office!I didn't see the Ikura on the menu so I opted for the Flying Fish Roe - a bit different but still good!The Miso Soup and small salad were great starters! Overall the Bento Box gets a little of everything and is always a good lunch.The shrimp were cooked perfectly and everything else that comes in the Bento Box was just enough and tasty.I would not choose green tea on my next visit. Maybe I'm mistaken but I always thought the Green Tea came in a small pot which I thought was a great idea. However, the price for a single cup of tea was not worth it!The service was good, and she cleared & removed dishes when I was finished!I garnered the Duke title!

Very dependable Japanese fare that is affordable in a cool interior setting (very similar to the setup they have in their Yukon branch with the same bar design). Service was also prompt. Got the scallops, vegetables and fried rice lunch plate and yellowtail plus tamago sushi entrees which were pretty good. Recommend checking out both this one and the one in Yukon!

Came by here today, missed lunch time by 10 minutes :(.However, they had a Buy one get one half off special on sushi rolls. We had the crazy jalapeño ( 6 pieces) which were amazing. They were stuffed with spicy tuna, crab meat deep fried topped with eel sauce,spicy mayo,masago,Mayo,, sesame seeds . They were not spicy ( which I was happy about).The hawaiian roll was shrimp,cream cheese ,avocado , topped with mango ,tobiko and coconut sauce. It was incredibly tasty.Volcano roll was deep fried tuna,cream cheese,jalapeño, topped with spicy crab,spicy Mayo, eel sauce and sesame.The service was good. I would definitely come back as I was very satisfied with the food. Next time I will be here earlier. Also they offer 10% military discount but not if already discounted for BOGO .
