This is such a neat location! The facility is truly a mecca for family entertainment. They have b-ball, volleyball, weights, cardio, pool, tennis and more! They have renovated the locker rooms and they are very nice! The facility is maintained very well and takes great care of guests. The pool is large and nice and is maintained to crystal clear perfection!

This is the worst fitness facility in the metro--- BUYER BEWARE. First, it's old, run down, and the cardio area was an unventilated cave in the back of the gym. They literally sit a fan in a doorway to try and move some air. The area literally stinks. It doesn't have modern amenities like Lifetime or the local YMCA's or Golds. The local Y's are cheaper, have more amenities, are better facilities, and have better equipment. The outdoor pool is something from the 50's, and not in a good way.Second, the basketball league crowd on the weekends makes the entire facility unusable. The crowd gets pretty rough and it's hopelessly crowded. It's not the type of place you can let the kids play basketball while you get in a workout, particularly on the weekends, it's too rough. I could let kids play basketball real early or on weekdays when the general public isn't allowed in. You pay for a membership and then it seems like Wild Kingdom with everyone allowed in on the weekends. I stepped away from a treadmill to run to the restroom, left my water and headphones, and when I came back the headphones were stolen. It's just... rough. Third, the "staff" are kids/volunteers that didn't take care of business. It's poorly staffed, if at all. There was a special needs kid that either drowned or nearly drowned right in front of a lifeguard -- like, ICU, ambulances, etc. I never found out if the kid made it, I only heard about it from a parent and decided we'd had enough of kids hanging out there.Fourth, it's expensive and the admin is ruthless. Anything for a dollar. READ THE FINE PRINT --THEY ARE RUTHLESS WITH ENFORCING IT. I had a convo with a front desk attendant to cancel my membership, she wrote it down, they didn't do as they promised, and the admin hit me with a $300 + new 6 month membership contract because I didn't put it in writing.... in a form they had but didn't provide when I cancelled it and despite the fact I NEVER USED THE GYM AND WAS TOLD IT WAS CANCELLED.There are several Y's around that are better, cheaper, safer, and won't saddle you with another 6 month membership whether you want it or not.

I've been looking for a pool membership for a while and this little joint kept popping up in conversation (and in talk threads!) In passing the other day, a friend mentioned she was thinking of trying this, and we decided to check it out together. Well, I just wish I had done this sooner. A $59 application fee plus $35/month gets you a single membership. While I was most excited about the junior Olympic size outdoor saltwater pool, they have three indoor and two outdoor tennis courts, three full-sized maple basketball courts, new cardio and weight equipment, saunas and more. My only beef: the whole point of this is to swim laps. They have the pool divided between the deep end and shallow end, so you have to account for the rope when doing laps. I'd love one lane for serious swimming only. Also, if you're used to the Downtown Y (like I am) the locker room, shower, bathrooms, etc leave a little bit to be desired, but it makes up for it with the outdoor pool. I'm really excited to have this new option in my workout regimen and pleased to have a place to be in the water (and sunshine) the rest of the summer.

Good gym with adequate parking. The staff was incredible. It's kinda old school but that makes it cooler. NBA star Trae Young paid for the basketball court floors - and there are like 6 of them.

Memberships available and amenities include a pool, tennis courts, basketball/volleyball courts, and a work out room. A conference room overlooking the basketball courts is also available through the ground level entrance. Seating as a fan is cramped, close to the floor, on metal bleachers. Concession stand has several options including warm food.

Pickleball is available only in 2 hours increments. I don't mind playing for 2 hours sometimes but when I signed up it wasn't clear it would have to be for 2 hours. If your schedule permits, great!
