Route 66 Diner

This was good food at a good price. We spent 23. and some change. We had chicken strip basket, grilled chicken chef salad, and loaded fries. The staff was okay. The place is worn in, it's part of the casino and it's more like a dive diner.

Was part of our hotel stay so it was free! Wasn't the best eggs and hash browns but the pancakes were amazing!!

Awful. Taco and burrito combo that my boyfriend ordered had completely dried out meat. The "burrito" was just 2 meat-stick-looking things inside a soft taco shell, not even wrapped like a burrito. Ordered a grilled chix sandwich to go and waited...and waited...and waited (ended up being almost 35 minutes ). After 10 minutes I went up and asked if the boxed-up order in the window might be mine and was told that it belonged to an employee...2 of the working staff stood around bullshitting with 2 other employees who were off work. The guy running the kitchen was not in the kitchen the whole time and the 3 kids back there looked lost. They were churning out about 1 order every 10 minutes. Was pleasantly surprised that food was piping hot when I did get it. But, finally, I bit into a bone on my first bite. For real.

This is advertised with billboards as a Route 66 diner but it is really a casino cafe with very bad food. The buffet contained a small salad bar, dried out meats and virtually no veggies with a typical frozen cobbler - very institutional food. Limited route 66 decor Would not recommend it.

Waitress was nice, but salad I had was pre-made the day before and was like goo...plastic bowl and warm ranch dressing.

Hate being treated like first class? Don't u just love it when u are overlooked? Then this is this the diner for u! I was in the area & thought I'd try it out. After standing in line behind the casino employees it was finally my turn to order. As I placing my order the girl behind the counter just said ok & walked off to answer the phone. She started spouting off the menu to the person on the phone (who must have been more important then me). So I walked out & will never be back.

The food quality is hit and miss. Prices are fair but as mentioned in other reviews it is inside of a casino so they don't pay taxes. The service is lacking big time. They have a bunch of help so this appears to be a management issue. The wait time for food is extremely longer than normal. I believe this too can be attributed to poor management.

Nice atmosphere and friendly service. The most expensive eggs you'll ever eat. Good location, just really expensive.
