There's a ton of fish in the pond, just be careful of the water moccasins if you have kids or pets with you.

This is a lovely winery in the middle of no where! We stopped here on our way from Missouri to Fort Worth, Texas as a stopping point. They have cute little cabins on the winery grounds that you can stay at and we rented two of them for one night. My inlaws stayed in one and my husband and I stayed in the other - dog friendly! The owner is super friendly and is very welcoming. They had a bottle of wine for us in the cabin as well as fresh baked chocolate chip cookies that were just wonderful!Shortly after we got there we walked over to the winery for a tasting. My favorites were the cranberry, white muscadine, peach chardonnay, and summer fun (watermelon). Also enjoyed the strawberry Riesling and tropical paradise. The wild fire - blackberry jalapeno was interesting!Just remember, this is not anywhere near anything, so we had dinner and breakfast with us - able to heat up and prepare in the cabins. With it not being near anything, it was a nice quiet evening and enjoyable for all four of us. Would highly recommend if you are driving through to stay the night or just to taste the wines!
