Robertson's Hams

Stopped by based off a road sign and we were glad we did! We got by a few ham and cheese sandwiches which were low cost and super tasty! Condiments are off to the side and do it yourself. Staff was super friendly and made the sandwiches very fast. If you need ham ... this is your place. Bonus: awesome merch!

When I was making my way east along I-40, I passed the cattle feed lot west of Amarillo TX. After seeing the high density cramped quarters and smelling the awful stench, let me tell you, I swore off beef then and there!Well, that was four hours back and 300 miles under my tires. That, along with my short memory, is when I saw the sign for Robertsons. Time for a bite to eat. I pulled off the highway and into a gravel parking lot. There before me was a rustic looking building that looked like it was in serious need of some paint. But, as they say, dont judge a book by its cover. It's what's on the inside that counts. Besides, a little weathered wood just adds to the ambiance. Don't get fooled by the face of Robertsons. The heart beats soundly. When I went inside, I noticed that the chalkboard menu had a number of different offerings. It was when I saw BBQ beef that I knew that I had to give it a shot. The memory of the feedlot had long since faded. As did the stench of the cattle wallowing in their own filth. But hey, didn't I mention that it's what's on the inside that counts? Well, I found that the inside of a bovine can barbecue up quite nicely. I got the bbq sandwich, and it was superb. You should get one, or maybe even two!Quick Tip: If you're tempted to get gas at the Loves next door, don't. Go to the next exit and buy your gas at Stuckeys. It's like 20 cents a gallon cheaper. The money you save will help pay for your sandwiches. Or that Pecan Log Roll if Stuckeys draws you inside.

Driving across the country , I always try to stay away from the chain restaurants that I can eat at while at home. The billboards along I-40 certainly reeled me in. I had the pulled pork sandwich, added a little bbq sauce, I was home. The meat was flavored really nicely even before adding the amount of bbq sauce that I wanted! Well worth the stop. I also purchased a package of their traditional beef jerky, which isn't my favorite, but I like a softer jerky - I am certain many others love it.Cute gift shop to wander through, well worth the stop.

Robertsons Ham's county stores have been in Texas and Oklahoma for the last 60 years, they're well known for their Hickory smoked ham, turkey, beef jerky,smoked sausage, breakfast sausage jalapeño sausage, Polish sausage and delicious bacon. They have a great selection of jams, jalapeño mustard. Their deli serves fresh tasty sandwiches, my favorite is the Reuben. Friendly customer service ample parking.

This sandwich shop is off the 40 in Oklahoma, well known for its ham sandwiches, and I can tell you they are tasty! Inside has a country feel to it. There's plenty of homemade items to purchase as you can see from the pictures. I had to buy some Hogs Bane bbq sauce, can't wait to get home and try it. Folks inside are very friendly with that Country hospitality! So stop in and get a bite for your travels.

I live a mile a mile and a quarter north of there. My husband's boss always buys us a small ham from there for Christmas every year. It is the best and I have had the sandwich meats but it's been a long time ago but the place is always crowded when I go by, I would highly recommend it

Great service and wonderful food. You can't go wrong with a ham sandwich at Robertson's. The ham and turkey were stars at Christmas dinner. It's a bit of a drive for me, but I make it gladly because it's definitely worth it. I love the store--the decorations and the items for sale. It's a mighty fine place to sit down and enjoy a great breakfast or lunch.

AWFULLL AWFUL PEOPLE AND SERVICE. DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE PLEASE. IF ANYTHING GOES WRONG THEY WILL NOT HELP YOU ONE BIT AND TRY TO BILL YOU AGAIN. Had a dissapointing Father's Day due to shipment not arriving because I had put my name and not my fathers name in delivery address. Company did not try to help resolving the issue at all but instead tried to get me to pay for shipping again. I have never had this happen to me before and now they have lost someone that could've been a good recurring customer.would give no stars if possible :(((
