They're not out of business; they have simply moved. I believe that they're re-opening the shop at 23rd and Land once renovations are complete, but I could be wrong.

Was looking for a chainsaw part after the ice storm and these guys helped me locate it even though it wasn't available at their store.

I try to be discerning about ranking businesses, however I have a soft spot for local shops. Rivera's Lawnmower Shop is run by Daniel Rivera with his sharp wife Diana. We used A-1 Lawn Shop on 27th and Portland for years. When my husband needed to bring the chainsaw and edger out of the garage from it's winter slumber we went to A-1. After three weeks of us calling every other day we decided to just go up and get our equipment back because they had complete disregard for our time or equipment. We were driving back down 23rd to hop onto i-44 and we spotted Rivera's. My husband, Mike, is not easily persuaded to try local shops after the cold shoulder we had just gotten. I asked him to stop and just ask if they could help or check everything out and quote us. He begrudgingly pulled into their parking lot and asked if my spanish was suffice in the event he couldn't communicate the issues. I pressured him to just go try. It was early in March and the grass game wasn't hectic so there was only one other person seeking service. Mike got out and waited for Daniel to greet him and test the language barrier. He is serious about communication- very old school in his abrupt and direct methods. He comes back to the truck with Daniel at his side. Daniel was very warm and told me he had relocated to OKC from California for his family. He was funny and direct just like Mike so that won him over. He wanted to look over the equipment and start it up to see what we were working with. He gave us a price on the spot for replace the carburetor, a new blade and primer bulb in less than an hour! What?! None of the whole "We'll call you when we get around to it?" Sweet. As it turns out the taco shop next door isn't too shabby at tacos al pastor and they were friendly as well. Rivera's now is in full summer swing and sometimes there is a bit of a wait(5-10 minutes) with the bigger lawn care crews in line to get service. Lets be blunt, we look very anglo, and most of the lawn crews are hispanic. They seem to have a greater passion and drive to do lawn and garden work- more so than I see asians, african americans or whites. On occasion we have been at Rivera's and a large crew will pull up and immediately start speaking spanish and trying to get the buddy one up on us. Even going so far as to step in front of Mike and say his time was more important. Diana and Daniel have both stepped up and said Mike is a customer just like you, you don't get special treatment just because you have a massive trailer and speak spanish. They won us with that! I speak spanish and I don't use it to my advantage in this situation. Mike does upkeep and lawn care for a few realtors so we are always popping in for equipment troubleshooting, parts, line, blades or service. Rivera's has never turned us away or failed to repair something correctly. We have upgraded blades on a few Stihl chainsaws and gotten more heavy duty chain. We have had a blower that bogged down shortly after starting up, fixed up good as new! These are the major months of the yard care season and you can see all the equipment post service waiting for pickup. He's quick but space is limited and he does ask that you keep your lawnmower bags and gas cans while they service your equipment. Give Rivera's a shot at being your local source of lawn care servicing- you won't be sorry.

Would never take a mower here again. Very poor customer service. They do not answer the phone. They don't open if they don't want to show up. The service is terrible.

Dropped off an older lawnmower that was working fine until my oldest got a hold of it. Suspected fuel in oil reservoir. Daniel took the mower and let me know he would call when complete. To my surprise, a few hours later I was good to go! He was upfront about $20 more in costs than the price quoted out the door...That was fine by me. Will definitely use him in the future.

I've turned in my Ryobi Trimmer for repairs 09/30/2019. 10 months later, still nothing done! Everytime I call, no one answers, Past 10 times I went there, I was promised it would be done within the next week. 10months later, still no Trimmer. So either all the other reviews on here are FAKE or paid for positive reviews. Call the number there 405-885-5859 and see if anyone answers. I'm surprised they are still in business. But I'll make sure the city and the Better Business Bureau knows about them. Totally useless.

First time to use this place and I definitely will be back and I will recommend them. Dropped my mower off around 11 o'clock today and got a call at 2 o'clock this afternoon that it was ready. Picked it up and got it home. Started first pull again and again. Thanks to you all
