We often go to River Oaks to golf - the course is nicely laid out and picturesque. The holes are well groomed and beautifully maintained.The clubhouse is low-key and has a fairly extensive menu and full bar replete with big screen televisions so you can watch golf before and after you golf. The menu has some healthy choices but most are fried. The food is consistent and sometimes poorly prepared. I recently received a salad that was pretty much swimming in dressing. They have a brunch with great, well-priced menu options.

We had a wedding reception at River Oaks, we are members as well and are familiar with their hospitality, they went above and beyond. Planning and payment arrangements wonderful, service wonderful, staff wonderful, food wonderful, the parking lot - on an snowy icy day was cleared for the guests to arrive.
