Richard's now charges 3% on all card purchases. However they tend to keep certain liquors and wines in stock that other liquor stores might not have.

Awesome business and Stacie and Toni are the best! They are always very helpful and work hard to get you the things you are looking for. Their prices are very very reasonable, and they have a well stocked store. I always stop in if I'm in the area and they're always glad to see me and help me out no matter what they're doing. Best around!

I am amazed at the poor customer service. Three time I went in and the price I was charged was almost $5 over the shelf sticker. I showed them the shelf sticker each time. Once, I was told the sticker was wrong because it was a gift set, and they charge extra for those. I have never been charge extra at other liquor stores. Once, I was told I must have looked at the wrong sticker, but when verified, the clerk said "I don't have to sell to you, or anybody I don't want to". The final insult was when I went in the store and both a customer AND clerk denigrated me for wearing a mask - they were not. Masks are required by our city ordinance. Also, it offends me to have a clerk smoking as they ring me out!

Plenty of hits and plenty of misses at my usual liquor store. Staff are usually nice enough, about half of them wreathed in a semi-permanent smell of cigarettes that only the true chain smokers can achieve. Selection has been more than good enough for me, though they're better at stocking wine than beer. They'll also do discount carts in the front if you want to try something new, but you're also taking a gamble that the stuff in there is long spoiled and that's why it's such a good price. At the end of the day, you're talking about an independent liquor store run by real humans, with all the positives and negatives that implies.
