As a kid I used to be so impressed by the shear amount of lights that the school placed on almost every building, tree, and bush. Even as a young adult, it was always a spectacle to see. However, over the last several years, I've seen that focus change. The back driveline that connects the two sides without going through a parking lot, is no longer light up. Most of the back buildings and none of the back trees are lit up either. Across 71st street, the student housing and student stores are light up anymore either. Sad. They have put more lights and started LED productions with LED lights on the west lawn. They've added so much over there that's it's almost a bit cluttered. This is where the bulk of the people visit. Lots of walkways and trails to walk under lights and decorations. Other than the parts left out that used to be a part of the show, it's still a nice place to visit and make a tradition for Christmas.

There are 3 different parking lights for Rhema Lights. I normally visit in early or mid December and if you arrive at 6pm you can watch the displays come alive and get good parking. This visit was on New Year's Eve and the perk was open parking and it was easy to stroll through the lights. This free event is a great way to get you in the holiday spirit. It is typically packed with lots of people checking out the lights. There are a lot of different displays and options to buy popcorn or a warm drink or jump on a carriage ride. Some of the light displays are synced to music which is fun to watch.

We come every year to enjoy the lights. It's a long loved tradition. Sometimes we walk. Occasionally we drive through. Once we did the wagon ride which was cool.

Christmas classic tradition. These are some of the best Christmas lights I've experienced anywhere and they are free. We have come every year since moving to Tulsa and I remember coming as a kid when my family would come into town to visit my mom's family for the holidays. You CAN drive it, but don't go with intention of getting the full effect if you plan to stay in your car. We love the Noah's, Ark and Snoopy displays the most! A fun double date would be too split a carriage with another couple. It would only be $25 per couple, and it would be such a fun and romantic thing to do. I think my husband and I are going to do that with my sister and brother-in-law in a week or so.

This annual light seeking outing is always topped with Rhema. We don't go, unfortunately, every year. But I think it just gets bigger and bigger. Don't recall seeing horse drawn carriages before, but what fun! Walking the lightened paths are a beautiful way to spend an evening. My favorite memory of a Rhema Christmas: The weather was warm, the sun set softly, the lights just went on and on. We toured slowly with many other vehicles in our Porsche with the top down. it was beautiful. Hopefully we'll all be inspired to remember why we celebrate the season.

I always have to make a stop here because the lights put on such an amazing show and I highly recommend going on a weekday rather than a weekend because parking can get hectic. There's so much to see and they also sell hot chocolate, popcorn, toys, etc. onsite if the little ones are getting a little hungry or thirsty. The hot chocolate is okay, a little watered down but the popcorn is warm and delicious. We paid for everything in cash so I don't know if they take credit cards. We also waited for the carriage ride and paid for it, only for them to skip out on us and we were in the freezing cold weather for it. It wasn't Rhema's fault since the horses are operated by a different vendor but I was pretty upset and should've made them give me more than a refund for my time but it won't stop me from coming here like I do every year.

Such an amazing display. Drive through or walk. There's a suggested donation through Vimeo but not required. Everywhere you look there is a different story being told with lights. Lots of vendors selling food and treats. A Christmas tradition worth keeping.

This is a yearly tradition for us and many Tulsans. We bundle up every year and brave the crowds to see the Christmas lights! This year, there was a concession stand with popcorn, cotton candy, apple cider, hot chocolate, and soda. It was nice to have a treat while looking at the lights. The light show did not fail to disappoint with popular holiday music. We will be back year after year for this wonderful holiday tradition.
