I had an appointment today with Kila. I could not be happier! Kila really put the work in! Beautiful color and cut! I had a baby 7 months ago and I feel completely renewed and refreshed. As I was there, I noticed a lot of beautiful technique from the other stylists as well! I highly recommend this salon!

I come for massage therapy from Nadia!!! She is so good! I really struggle with pain, from years of being too hard on my body through sports, and she has been so helpful in helping me with relief and relaxation. Her space is soothing, located right in the heart of Midtown. She really listens to your needs and offers a solid variety of treatments, fromHot stone to cupping. 10/10 recommend Nadia for your body wellness needs

Allexus is my favorite I'm so happy to work with her. She never questions me or tells me something can't be done when I ask to try something new. I also appreciate her listening to me and how quickly she gets me in and out. The salon is well kept and everyone seems to be friendly and offer many services.

I got a massage from Nadia and a fade from Viri, and both were absolutely amazing! Nadia asked what I wanted, and tailored to the pressure and target areas. Viri knew how I wanted my hair better than I did. She was awesome and explained everything along the way. I will definitely be going back for both!

Holy smokes if I could ever give a place 10 stars this would hands down be it.From the moment you walk in the door you're greeted by the ever so sweet receptionist named Emerson who is super friendly and offers you wine water or coffee! He handed me my massage paperwork with Robin which wasn't your typical paperwork she asked unique questions that got to know your preference and style of massage which I really enjoyed. Such as: Do you like to talk during massage? Firm or light pressure? Do you like waterfalls or classical music? Or other music?My massage music consisted of the eagles playing on pandora which yes it's different but holy moly that's my jam and it relaxes me indeed! I got the Indian head massage which had a small amount on my hips since I'm holding my baby all the time, a lot focused on my head neck shoulders and back. Her pressure was firm and perfect. I got the 90 minute which so glad I did because i was literally drooling by the end of it!When she took me to the room I thought I wouldn't be able to relax due to the openness of the salon but not the case at all. She helped relieve me from so many knots and stiffness and she was a peach! Can't wait to come back I will definitely be a regular and cheating on what was my normal place! Whoops!

I go to Rachel for a color and cut. She was recommended by my daughter. I am so happy with Rachel. She is an expert colorist and gives me the perfect shade for me. I am 74 and need to be careful with the look of my hair. Rachel is so friendly and professional! I really love her and highly recommend her!

I visited Revel Eight for a haircut for the first time today and was super pleased. Ashley M gave me a superb cut with a nice blowout and I was very impressed with how clean and cautious everyone was regarding COVID. I'll definitely return and I highly recommend Ashley M! Revel Eight even worked me in for a massage after my cut. I left the salon a happy (and relaxed) lady.

I'm updating my review of my beloved Revel Eight, after my first cut and color after the start of the COVID-19 crisis, to tell you a little bit about their safety procedures. I received a detailed text from my stylist with instructions about arrival (wait in your car until you are texted to come in to give them ample time to clean, and if you don't have a mask one will be provided for you). Upon arrival I used hand sani and they took my temp. My stylist was in a full face shield. My chair had been sanitized when I sat down. She did my color and everything as normal. She took great care of me, as always. I could hear her and understand her thanks to the clear shield, and everyone else had on a mask. Scheduling my appointment and payment was contactless, and she grabbed products for me rather than me getting them myself. I appreciated all the thoughtful considerations they had made to make sure we were all safe. I think even if someone with COVID had been there at the same time as me, I would have been safe. And I think that's what you're looking for. In case you're looking for a new salon, I think you should look here. Rachel is my stylist, but I have known many of the stylists here over the years and they are all wonderful - you can't make a mistake!!

Ok so this is gonna be a long review. I scheduled a consultation last week for my color correction. I had faded red hair. The pic off the internet was my goal pic. She never told me she couldn't do it. So I go on Sunday, I stay there from 12-5:30. Not once did she say hey let's stop your hair is getting bad or steer me in a different direction. She put bleach all over my hair once, then bleached it again and put a root color. Then she added another root color, and about two more toners. She still DIDNT SAY ANYTHING. My hair felt like gum and I was in shock. She had me pay and I left with it wet. I cried so much knowing my hair was destroyed. I went to a different hair dresser at a different salon and she told me there is no amount of hair treatments that will bring my hair back. And that I had to cut 5 inches off. And that was just to make me happy. More needed off but I'm not mentally prepared for that. She also told me I need to get a refund and that I could presume legal actions if I wanted. So I contacted the owner. She really didn't care. It was kinda sad. She hid behind her computer, never called me, asked the stylist to call me. THIS STYLIST MELTED MY HAIR. I did end up getting my money back yesterday but that doesn't matter. Now I have short hair and trying to not be depressed about it. All I wanted was pretty hair. I wish if the stylist couldn't do it she would have told me.

They have artists who do not listen to you about color or style. Instead, its, "well everyone sees color differently", $250 later. If you go here, keep to your normal stylist who knows what they're doing and listens to you.
